family owned hotel. Everything you need with the kindest staff. We checked in late night- be sure to mention it to the staff and they helped us with so many details in our short stay. Our only hesitation was a concern that after reading some reviews the hotel might be further from the main downtown area in Zermatt- psssh, perfect location just a short walk (and thats from a suburbanite american) from everything. "Memorable stay at the Schönegg. Staff was friendly and professional, the amenities are mind-blowing (pool, spa, terrace, lounge, etc.), the location is relatively central but still far from the noise from bars etc. All in all a fantastic stay and we’re very satisfied to have spent a wonderful vacation at the hotel.
