Nice family owned hotel. Very friendly staff. Good location and great view of the Matterhorn if you chose to upgrade. No air conditioning which is typical for the area. We were never uncomfortable. Breakfast was very minimal given the price. No staff after 7pm but provisions are made to continue bar service.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Ambiance. The room was spacious and clean. Our balcony was large and had a view of the Matterhorn. The staff were very kind and helpful. The only downside was there is construction everywhere in Zermatt, so there are large cranes that were blocking the view of the Matterhorn. I could still get a picture if I zoomed in. That is not the hotels fault, but worth noting.

We had a really nice stay at the Hotel Ambience, it had lovely staff (it was a small team as it was off-season, but they were really kind and helpful). The rooms were comfy, breakfast was great, and we really enjoyed having a relaxed drink on their terrace with a view of the Matterhorn.

An excellent stay at Hotel Ambiance. Perfect location with an easy walk to ski bus, shops, restaurants and bars - yet so quiet. Exceptionally clean, awesome hearty and plentiful breakfast every morning, friendly and super helpful staff….and that view..!! Will definitely return.

Super clean and the staff was knowledgable and helped very time we needed any type of help. It is up hill, so I would take an electric taxi to the hotel. I of course hauled my two suitcases up what felt like the Matterhorn and I had to stop several times. I am in great shape so trust me when I say take a taxi. The steps to climb can be challenging. Once you are at the hotel the easiest corridor is exit left. It is a gradual walk up and down to the city center. Greta place and I would stay here again.
