We just returned from a week at Jashita and couldn't recommend the hotel more. It's truly a special place perched at the end of Solomon Bay, just a short jaunt away from the great restaurants, hotels, and nightlife of the Tulum puebla and beach. But most importantly, with all that Jashita has to offer, why leave?
The service across the board is some of the best I've received anywhere being a frequent traveler for both work and pleasure. We had many great meals at the restaurant and enjoyed...

This hotel was beyond my expectations. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious and the presentation is stunning. Patricio in front desk was able to answer any questions and make reservations for us. He is amazing along with Paulina in front desk. I felt right at home. The guys in the restaurant and beach club area left me with no words. Carlos, Roberto, and Jose Manuel in the beach club gave the best service. So personable and friendly. Wow!!! If you are looking to relax in nature this is the place. The hosts and staff were amazing making sure our every need was met including getting a Drs appointment for my son. They would also prepare us meals on request. At night you can enjoy the fire by the cenote with the glowing lights inside the caves. During the day the birds are very entertaining we even spotted a toucan. Honestly we can’t say enough about this heaven on earth. We will definitely be returning next year.

This was our 5th visit to Esencia. We got married here 4 years ago and keep coming back. It is the perfect balance of understated beauty with warm, impeccable service (and the MOST delicious food). The new owner is really taking care to maintain the uniqueness of the property, while also making improvements. New furniture, new bath products, updated menus are just a few. The changes are lovely. We cannot say enough how special Esencia is. We recommend it to everyone we know.

I’ve never been to Tulum and in booking this property it is close to both popular beach clubs of MIA and TABOO… the ocean was steps away from my room and as this was an adult only property it wasn’t wild with young folks running around. This property doesn’t have tv in their rooms which is perfect to disconnect completely and fully enjoy your experience at the beach listening to the waves. As I speak very very little Spanish the staff was able to speak and understand English. Everyone I dealt...

Quite possibly the most beautiful and relaxing stay I’ve ever experienced. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stay that is reflective of the natural beauty and environment of Tulum and not the all-inclusive resort side. Also the opportunity to see baby sea turtles climb the shore past my room at night is a memory I’ll have forever.

Shibari Tulum is MAGICAL. The pictures don’t even do it justice. The resort is beautiful, relaxing and fun and the staff is overly friendly and accommodating. Fernando, Danny, George, Jorge, Natalia, Yahaira, Francisco, Karla, and all the other Shibari staff made our weeklong stay absolutely perfect. We celebrated our engagement there, they surprised us with a bottle of champagne and a beautiful note when we entered. The cenote is breathtaking and one the coolest places I’ve ever swam. Be sure...

Excellent location-quiet late at night/early morning so we slept well. Walking distance to tons of shops, restaurants, bars & beach clubs. Loved being right on the beach! Property was clean and very well maintained. Staff was friendly and attentive. Beds were super comfortable and great air conditioning. Good and drinks were all fresh and delicious. The hotel had so much character. Highly recommend!

My experience was lovely...tranquil, natural beauty, no loud music blasting, pristine beach, a super kind staff...all good. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. I would not recommended eating dinner there (Ziggy's) because the portions are tiny and the prices are high.
To get downtown a taxi is needed...no worries, you can catch one within minutes. There are lots of restaurants (downtown); but, El Carmello's is off the hook ( no pun intended)!! The seafood is ridiculously fresh and...

Our overall experience at Muare was excellent, with minor complaints.
Firstly the positives-
Especially enjoyed the pool area and the relaxing music that plays in the resort all day. It’s very peaceful.
We got massages done and the deep tissue massage was great. The bar drinks were fantastic. The room was lovely, and the maintenance did a great job with daily room service and cleaning.
Now for the minor complaints -
The roads leading up the hotel are really bad, it’s an unpacked bumpy road....
