Hotel Riu Palace Las Americas - Adults Only- All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel just delivers. A pool that looks like Versace’s pool not so deep but just right. Restaurants that have amazing food and service that is at times is impeccable and so difficult to find these days.
This hotel is all and more in all categories, food, drinks, service and location.
Amazing place."
Hotel Riu Palace Kukulkan - Adults Only - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"The property was wonderful to stay at, some of the most friendly and helpful staff I've come across at any of the all-inclusives I've been to. Property was clean, modern and maintained daily. Food was tasty, however, all of the restaurants don't open every night, so make sure to check their schedules before planning where you want to eat on which nights of your stay. Drinks variety was also pretty great.
It was a quieter hotel than other RIUs I've stayed at, but very relaxing. There were daily shuttles however, to parties happening at a nearby RIU hotel which were open and free to guests of this hotel. It's also a relatively compact hotel, in that, you don't have much walking to get from your room to the restaurants, bars, pools or beach. And as far as I could see from the shore, it was the the only hotel clearing out sargassum throughout the day for every day I was there, which is awesome.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay."
Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort & Spa All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"We had a great stay at Grand Palladium Kantenah overall and really enjoyed our vacation. The resort is beautiful, the grounds are well maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The food, pools, and beach all contributed to a wonderful experience.
The main area that needs improvement is the butler service. While the butlers were courteous, I often had to ask multiple times for the same requests before they were completed. Response times were also inconsistent, and there were occasions when messages were not answered promptly. Since butler service is intended to enhance the guest experience, I believe more timely communication and better follow-through would make a significant difference.
Despite this issue, we had a very enjoyable stay and would consider returning in the future."
"The hotel room was clean and the rooms were convenient with kids. We had two bedrooms connected with a hallway. Balcony was nice as well. The staff were friendly for the most part. The shows we went to were great! Michael Jackson tribute was really good. The party scene was a bit too much for a family visiting. There is a lot of family attractions but parties went late into the night with loud thumping music and yelling people. The pools were fantastic. It was a weird mix of family and college. Our kids were older (12/17) so it was fine. The vendors on the beach were very annoying. The waves were really strong and we couldn’t go in the ocean. Food is just okay. It’s not great but not terrible. There were some gluten free items for my celiac daughter and myself but the ran out the last day. We’d go back."
