Convenient destination in Mexico for travellers who don't speak Spanish, as most locals speak English. The infrastructure is well-developed and of good quality, ensuring a comfortable experience. However I think it may be somewhat too Americanized.

Tulum is beautiful! Give yourself time to rest and time to be adventurous/ tour the area. The food is great. I enjoyed the cenotes, the museum and the beach club. Make sure your internet works if that's important to you and have a great time!

Its an amazing place to visit and is still developing but it's history and lush areas are a must see. Their cenotes and ruins are a must when visiting. Everyone should book a tour, venture out to see the culture or visit their many beach clubs.

Tulum is growing fast but still a very new town. It isn't the slick cruise-ship tourist trap that Playa and Cancun are so don't expect anything fancy - lots of dirt roads. They do have lovely beach clubs and beautiful cenotes.

Tulum is very expensive overall, so bring a lot of pesos or USD, but beaches and the vibe ( not in the main town but on the beach in archeological zone (park Jaguar) and zona Hotelera) is special !

I loved the experience. Everyone is nice and makes you feel welcome and at home. The mosquitoes are terrible. Even though it may look unsafe I felt safe the entire time no matter where we walked and at night.

The taxi system price gauges without shame. For two women traveling together, it didn't feel safe or worth venturing outside of the beach strip at all (i.e; $40 USD for a one way trip 0.75 miles away). We will definitely be renting a car next time.

Tulum is definitely a tourist destination and a pricey. However, we found that all the street food was cheap and actually the best food we had the entire time we were there. I wish that is had not been so Americanized. American music everywhere.
"As always the staff never seizes to amaze me. From the moment i walk from the parking area to the check-in center the staff is already greeting me with a great smile and genuine heartfelt handshake welcoming me into the property. "
"I absolutely loved my stay at Be Tulum. The staff was friendly and the property was stunning. They had activities throughout the day. I will definitely be back. "
"The apartment was very nice and everything worked well.
However, the towels were never changed and there was no cleaning supplies to clean the flat during the stay.
The pool is great and the staff too."
"Very different experience compare to big city. You can feel the air the breath, wake up with bird’s voice. Like in the jungle! The room is big and bed is comfortable. "
"All very well, a very nice place and his staff very attentive, except for one, the bartender, he was very unfriendly, he was annoyed that he paid in Mexican money and he snatched my money from my hand, but... "
