"We just spent 10 days at Barceló Maya Palace and loved every minute. The resort is stunning, clean, and beautifully maintained. The pools and beach are absolutely gorgeous, with plenty of room to relax. Every meal at the buffet and specialty restaurants was excellent. Most of all, the staff was incredibly warm and attentive. It was the perfect luxury vacation, and we cannot wait to return!"
"Fabulous stay at this gorgeous hotel. The beach is perfect, the room was perfect, and the staff was so kind and sweet. Highly recommend to anyone coming to Tulum."
"Stayed at hotel copal it was an incredible stay. The staff were all beyond helpful and friendly, they upgraded our room free of charge. The room was beautiful and spacious, the balcony was a very peaceful area to enjoy breakfast or a drink. The rooftop pool was great to cool off in, very clean and beautiful room. Had delicious steak tacos at the restaurant. Could not have been better in any way. The hotel is located in a very convenient area close walking distance to lots of restaurants and...
"Our room was always clean. The staff thought out the property was very nice and helpful. The ocean views were beautiful. Best place we had stayed at. "

"We celebrated our 25th anniversary with a seven day trip to Tulum. The Alaya was a great place to stay. The staff is courteous and friendly. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. The location is quiet but within walking distance of amenities. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel."
"Absolutely perfect! Beautiful room! Fantastic restaurant delicious food! Best beach lounge chairs in the hotel zone and the pool makes the beach club exquisite. This is my fourth time to Tulum this year and my favorite hotel. Honestly, I could not have been more pleased with the property the service and especially my absolutely stunningly beautiful cabin. I definitely will be back!"
"Such a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the wonderful beach and rooms. The staff is excellent and the morning breakfast is a wonderful way to start the day. Love this hotel and the quiet and peaceful environment."
"Great hotel to get the true Tulum experience. Room was nice, beach in front of hotel was great, and the location is right in the heart of so many restaurants, shops and nightlife. Would definitely stay here again."
"Love this Hotel. I booked five rooms for 10 girls to celebrate my birthday. The hotel was perfectly located on the beach. Beds were comfortable . It is in a great walkable area. Highly recommend."
"Upon arrival staff was very courteous. Hotel concept was amazing. Such relaxing and natural vibes. We stayed in the sky villa and it was just amazing. Room was clean. Location of hotel was perfect. Would recommend. "
"Great hotel! I loved the beach club, it was amazing. The hotel is in the middle of Tulum Beach, you can walk to the restaurants, bars and other spots and don’t have to spend money on cab."
"Is a very beautiful hotel in front of the beach with amazing views. The staff were very friendly and professional. It’s a little noisy because there’s clubs / music around it but that’s the vibe of Tulum. I highly recommend this place."

My husband and I just recently visited and all we can say is WOW!! This experience for us was exactly what we wanted and needed. The generosity that each staff members brought was very heart warming and truly inspiring to see. From Laurna’s kindness, Efrains cool vibe and conversations, Eddy’s amazing breakfast service and joyful self, Angel’s wholesome personality, Alfredo making me coffee every morning at 5AM.. when he didn’t have to, and we cannot forget Carlo’s determination to go over the...
My wife and I had a wonderful three night retreat here. We were looking for somewhere quiet, where we could sit by the ocean and read and chill. This was perfect. The service was great and everything on the menu was delicious. We walked to the Mezzanine for Thai food one night, which was great! One day we took a taxi ($550 MX) to the strip and had tacos at La Zebra (also great).
Love the new Tulum International Airport. We had a direct flight from Dallas. The transportation from the airport to...
My experience was lovely...tranquil, natural beauty, no loud music blasting, pristine beach, a super kind staff...all good. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. I would not recommended eating dinner there (Ziggy's) because the portions are tiny and the prices are high.
To get downtown a taxi is needed...no worries, you can catch one within minutes. There are lots of restaurants (downtown); but, El Carmello's is off the hook ( no pun intended)!! The seafood is ridiculously fresh and...
This is one of the most relaxing, beautiful, peaceful trips I’ve ever been on. This property is so gorgeous - the smells, the sounds, the food - everything was so amazing. I cannot wait to come back!! Everyone there was so helpful and kind, they are able to get a taxi quickly for you and more. Tulum changed me, and I have Una Vida to thank for that. Tip: do the sound therapy session!!! It just completed my stay and really did some good for my soul. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this...
Kai is stunning! This is a this is a great hotel, if you would like a peaceful place to rest and reflect, swim and enjoy the Playa Paraiso. This is not the right hotel if you want to go to different bars and restaurants every night. You can take a cab into town, but it is not that close and not worth it in my opinion. We enjoyed our stay at Kai so much, especially the beautiful room. Their bungalows are as beautiful as the pictures show. The restaurant is slightly overpriced as far as food, but...
Excelente hotel.
The property was clean and in an amazing location. The staff was great and very helpful with booking excursions or other services i.e., transportation. Wait staff also excellent and very friendly and attentive. This hotel is in a great location if you want to have a quiet vacation- party scene is a 15 minute beach walk. There is NO A/C, however the sea breeze and the fan was MORE than enough. My husband and I like to sleep in cold environments, but this was perfect- we stayed at the ocean front...
Loved everything about this place. Amazing decoration, steps to the ocean and the staff is great. Ivo was always helpful.
The place is right in the entrance of Hotel Zone between shops, restaurants and boutiques.
Will love to come back.
My stay at Olivia Oceanfront Tulum was an incredible experience. The service was exceptional, attentive, and thoughtfully designed to make everything feel effortless.
One of the things I enjoyed most was the digital check in and digital guest service. It feels innovative and convenient, giving you the freedom to manage everything at your own pace without having to depend on traditional front-desk schedules.
For me, this is a great option because I simply want to relax, enjoy my surroundings,...
Sana and its entire staff was absolutely top tier. The facility was clean and refreshing as a change of scenery of the “”Tulum” aesthetic. Our room was upgraded and we had a peaceful and relaxing time. We will certainly be back to enjoy for our next vacation as this trip was strictly for work. Top marks all around for Sana Tulum. Highly recommended.
I’ve never been to Tulum and in booking this property it is close to both popular beach clubs of MIA and TABOO… the ocean was steps away from my room and as this was an adult only property it wasn’t wild with young folks running around. This property doesn’t have tv in their rooms which is perfect to disconnect completely and fully enjoy your experience at the beach listening to the waves. As I speak very very little Spanish the staff was able to speak and understand English. Everyone I dealt...
This hotel was beyond my expectations. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious and the presentation is stunning. Patricio in front desk was able to answer any questions and make reservations for us. He is amazing along with Paulina in front desk. I felt right at home. The guys in the restaurant and beach club area left me with no words. Carlos, Roberto, and Jose Manuel in the beach club gave the best service. So personable and friendly. Hermelindo who was our server for...
This was the perfect honeymoon getaway. Remote enough to avoid the large crowds in Tulum Beach but close enough to outstanding restaurants, cenotes, and the ruins. The hotels staff was excellent and friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was the finest I ever had.
Quite possibly the most beautiful and relaxing stay I’ve ever experienced. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stay that is reflective of the natural beauty and environment of Tulum and not the all-inclusive resort side. Also the opportunity to see baby sea turtles climb the shore past my room at night is a memory I’ll have forever.
