"The entire city of Gothenburg is under construction (expected to last for the next 5 years) so the view was full of construction cranes. The Uber dropped us off in the back of the hotel that gave first impression of the location is isolated. But when we walked to the front desk the hotel is actually facing a more busy streets. What we saw of Gothenburg was beautiful. Although it was in October and tourists are few the Haga District was cozy to walk around."
"room was spacious and very calm (low ac noise, guests walking in the corridor) making sleep much easier
buffet breakfast was fresh and of good quality / plenty of choice
staff was very kind and helpful
great gym there to train
perfect location right in the city center making walking the city and back to the hotel very conveninent + located next to the train station which tremendously eases going to the airport"
"Great hotel, located in a great location for all of the transportation. We found going with an ADHD and autistic child tricky, it is one of those hotels that doesn’t really accommodate for neurological children. But if it was me and the mrs it would be great, Breakfast had a good variation, the bar had a really nice atmosphere. The smell when you walk into the hotel hits you straight away and is very comforting. You can get free bottled water from reception. Staff were great, Swedish folks maybe less so."
"Hotel in a central location - very close to the bus and train station. Absolutely amazing breakfast which included omelettes, pancakes. Everything that you could think of. Very busy hotel which held outside events but where we stayed on the 11th floor very quiet.
Why we didn't give it 5 stars - we were there for 3 nights of which 1 morning our room wasn't cleaned until after 3pm, despite the cleaning staff being outside our room at 9.30am and another morning wasn't cleaned at all! Had to go down to reception to get fresh towels and I was questioned did I leave the sign out for no cleaning. No I didn't! Might be an idea to change your sign to say your guests want the rooms cleaned and there wouldn't be any confusion."
