Our room was absolutely gorgeous. Every last detail had been thought through and was perfect, from the soft gold carpets and comfy bed to the great shower. Breakfast was brilliant too, with everything you could possibly want and more. The staff were lovely throughout our stay, and the bar was so interesting and a really great space. We absolutely loved our stay and would happily go back. Would definitely recommend!

Nice hotel, comfortable bed but quite dark in the room, a bit brighter lighting would enhance the room. The hotel is located close to everything and is an easy walk to most attractions. A unique boutique hotel close to the train station which made it easy as we’re traveling by train across Sweden. Wonderful breakfast options on the top floor with a view. A nice bonus was they had a flat iron for my hair. When you are a foreign traveler who tries to pack light, this was a nice surprise. My only small suggestion would be to add a small side table next to the sink. Digging through my toiletries bag on the floor was obnoxious. Not much counter space in our room. Everything else was great

Very nice staff and very good breakfast. If you are sensitive to smells or perfumes, I would consider another hotel as they have diffusers for a perfume all around in the hotel that cannot be adjusted. Unfortunately the diffuser was in the hallway right outside our room and the perfume was very strong so it also smelled in our room (and I was pregnant so probably extra sensitive to the smell). When we asked the staff, there was nothing they could do as it was «the concept» of the hotel.

First time in Gothensburg and what a treat to stay at here! It’s quite literally my favorite hotel in Sweden now! It’s 1920s Parisian so naturally stunning, the bed was comfortable and everyone who works there, especially the young lady at the front desk whose name I can’t remember was delightful! She even gave me recommendations for places to eat and explore! I can’t believe people left any negative reviews - I loved my stay so much I added an extra night before leaving Sweden and preferred Gotebthburg to Stockholm because of how much I enjoyed Hotel Pigalle. I work at an architecture firm and really appreciated all the fixtures and attention to details! Beautiful interiors and exteriors! 10/10!

The first 3 nights were fantastic, a great hotel, lovely staff, great breakfast. Sadly, someone thought it was OK to book a party/event in the rooms above us. Ridiculously loud dance music which was so loud the glass light fitting on our ceiling rattled with every bass drum! Didn't end until after 1.00am... I rang reception, she just giggled and apologised. I went upstairs, all the party goers were hanging around in the corridors like it was some sort of nightclub. Utter madness, we paid a lot of money for an appalling nights rest. Not impressed at all. That said, I assume that this isn't an every Saturday night occurrence. Other that this, we loved the hotel. It was just spoilt by a lack of fore thought.

The breakfast was good, and the restaurant area is cosy both inside and outside. Very helpful and nice staff! The rooms are quite dark (it is suppose to be «cosy and dark»), but it can be difficult if you need light for example when doing make-up. Overall we had a really nice stay.
