Entlebuch District Hotels

We were an extended family of 7 and loved our stay here! What a beautiful location and the travel pass during our stay made for one of our favorite days during our vacation. Depending on which way you get there, the drive from Brienz is not for the faint hearted. That said, the scenery was amazing. Checking in and relaxing with a very nice dinner at the hotel made for a relaxing evening. The hotel was clean, comfortable and welcoming. The staff was attentive and breakfast was good. Would...

A beautiful, historic property with fabulous views over the lake to the Alps. Excellent staff and service. A very good meal in an elegant dining room with a view to the waterfall. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling in the Interlsken area.

Very nice property in a beautiful part of Switzerland. Friendly staff and lots of areas to walk and enjoy the scenery. Great breakfast options and lots of options for restaurants in addition to the one onsite. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely book again.

We spent a week here for our anniversary and the setting is hard to beat. The resort is spotless, the lake and mountain views are postcard-perfect, and the staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. If you want quiet, clean air, and scenery, this delivers. The tradeoff is isolation. Getting anywhere else in Switzerland means long drives on winding mountain roads, and the access road is single-lane with scheduled up/down windows, so you can’t come and go on a whim. Dining options...

It was one of the most beautiful places in the area. The staff ere extremely nice and helpful. Very convenient, close to the train and bus stations. Highly recommended

I would give Edelweiss 1000 stars if that were an option. I almost hesitate to write this for fear of spoiling what feels like such a precious, tucked away gem. Tom and the staff are so knowledgeable about area hiking options and how to avoid crowded tourist points; the chef’s bbq was the BEST pork I’ve ever had in my life, and they turned me on to the DELICIOUS elderflower laced hugo spritz. Having Mannlichen as our “mountain” allowed for spectacularly beautiful and easy access to so many...

Absolutely excellent, every component. Room was beautiful, staff helpful and attentive, perfect location, great spa, great breakfast. Will stay here again.

Now, I’m going to be honest. The rooms are not updated or fancy…more like a holiday inn….but the staff more than makes up for the simple/old rooms. Every single person was so nice, kind, and helpful. Georgia was especially helpful to us! We appreciated her advice! The outdoor deck was beautiful, and the restaurant was fantastic! Also, the location could not be better with amazing views.

Very clean hotel with excellent service! The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always happy to answer our questions. Cruz and other staff went above and beyond to help us navigate public transportation and find the best tourist areas to visit. The breakfast was great, and the view of the mountains and lake was absolutely breathtaking. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!

Great stay at Hotel des Balances. Had a lovely balcony room facing the water. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Located in the middle of everything. Highly recommend, pic on the hotel’s balcony.

We had a wonderful time in Interlaken The hotel was clean and comfortable. We had 2 large rooms. Both were decorated differently. One room felt like we were in the 1960s with its simple décor and colors. I really don't care about that kind of stuff anyway, just clean and comfortable which we're both met. The breakfast buffet was delicious with the variety of items, and the staff and hosts were fantastic. Everyone was helpful, kind, and polite. I would definitely stay here again. I liked the...

The location of the hotel is very convenient, right between the bus stops of both ways Thun and Interlaken. We love to have breakfast very morning next to the beautiful lake of Thunersee. Location of the hotel is amazing beautiful. Staffs are very nice, helpful, and professional. Hotel also provided a great discount to many places, more then other hotels. We used them for the discount tickets.

We had a wonderful three night stay with our 12-yr-old twin boys in this lovely hotel. The hotel is clean and stylish and the staff made us feel like family. We especially enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub after a long day of cable cars, funiculars, trains, ziplining, and hiking! The dining room is beautifully decorated and the food is wonderful. And to top it off, the manager's Golden Retriever was an added treat!

Maya Caprice Boutique Hotel & Spa is wonderful! My wife and I had a couple night stay at this hotel and it was truly an amazing property! We booked a Superior Double Room, 1 King Bed, Balcony, Mountainside and the view from the room was unreal! Probably one of my favorite views in Switzerland while we were there. One of the best benefits of Maya Caprice is its proximity to the Wengen train station. It’s one of the first hotels you see once you get off the train. It’s also walking distance to...

Had a wonderful stay in Spiez. The view from the hotel is absolutely gorgeous! I recommend getting a room with a view of the lake, you will not be disappointed. Our room was comfortable and spacious with nice updated bathrooms. My only complaint about the room was there were no shades of any kind to block out the light in the morning. This is particularly annoying in the summer as the sun starts to rise before around 4:30am! The hotel staff was very warm, welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed...

During my time in Switzerland I stayed in 4 different hotels and my time at Hotel Spinne was the best! My view of the Eiger mountain was stunning, the infinity pool was a dream, the restaurant on site had delicious pizza and the staff went above and beyond. I accidentally left an item behind and Zuzana and the rest of the staff were able to securely get it back to me. I’m grateful for the experience and will certainly be back.
