The hotel is old-world Europe, well- maintained in the common areas. The staff was friendly and helpful in every way. The view from our room was great, very much worth staying here. Great view location above Lake Lucerne with easy access to old town center and train station approx 10 to 15 minute walk. Hotel gives a free transit pass for the central core during your stay. Old world class hotel, excellent breakfast (extra but worth it). Only downside is there is no central air conditioning but have portable air conditioners in the rooms.

Beautiful hotel overlooking the lake. moonlight views gorgeous. room was very nice and clean. fan was helpful for the warm weather. breakfast was delicious and buffet extensive anything you could possibly want. It is a very short walk and then 61 steps to climb up from bus stop if anyone has a mobility challenge. great value relative to other places. staff was friendly and helpful

we enjoyed our stay at the hotel in Luzern, Arad (Front desk) helped us check in in, he gave us recommendations for things to do and places to eat around. Our room was clean, spacious with two balcony’s and amazing windows, bathroom was tidy and bed so comfortable . Breakfast buffet was complete. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed 1 night in May 2026. Location was ok - we took bus from train station to Casino-Palace stop and then walked the remainder. Hotel is located up hill and could be difficult to access by foot with heavy luggage. Room was a good size and had beautiful panoramic views of the lake and city. No air conditioning, but with windows open and using provided fan, we were comfortable. Would have preferred to receive Lucerne visitor pass prior to check in so we could have used it for the bus ride from train station to hotel.
