Fantastic, modern, clean apartment in the perfect location.

Really like the hotel and the location. Our room was nice but in the worst location in the hotel. On the busiest street with buses and we could even hear the crosswalk beeping. Really annoying. Make sure you don't get a room ending in 14! Also valet parking is $45 a night. Highway robbery.

Beautiful property with elegant rooms, and friendly staff.

We have stayed here at least 6 times as every room is a suite with a king size bed. The rooms are spacious and inviting. Several restaurants are within walking distance as is Bowen’s Wharf. Looking forward to our next trip to Newport

Great location and the hotel is very clean and in excellent condition. Thought the price was high for the time of year (mid- Oct). We were just there for a night so I thought it was crazy that we had to pay a resort fee considering the restaurant was not open and we were told we had to be out by 11:00am because they were closing the hotel for the week. Other than that the staff was friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

This is the third time we have stayed here. Just one night as we passed through visiting relatives. This time we had a suite with the loft and it was the whole family-including three small children. Very roomy and nice. The location is downtown Newport. The parking is GREAT. You can leave your car right in front and walk anywhere. The staff was incredibly pleasant. The Wellington was a last-minute-ish choice for our trip to Newport. It is in an excellent location - walkable to the busy parts of the waterfront, but not so close that there is noise and excessive traffic. The free transit bus and mansions are a short walk away. The room was spacious and homey, the bed was very comfortable, the pool and grounds are in excellent shape. The room rate is not cheap, but we felt it was well worth it, and will gladly stay again.

Great place with modern-beach vibes in a historic building. 1 min walk to Tennis Hall of Fame. The only small negative-too hot at night, had some difficulty regulating room temp.

Every step of the way was perfect! The grounds and house are beautiful. Our rooms were two apartments with beautiful views. Olivia told us about the cupola - we saw a full moon and an incredible sunrise up there. Olivia , the manageress, was lovely, helping with our bags, telling us the history, showing us the speakeasy . All in all, a 10! We will be back !
