"New upgrades led to cheap purchases. Upon arrival, sink immediately filled and clogged to which the maintenance staff already knew due to remodel. Space was clean. Bathroom was real tight."
"The cafe downstairs was not open yet by the time we had to leave the hotel for our program and was already closed by the time we got back after lunch. I very much missed my morning coffee.
It is strange, that there is no closet or any kind of storage area for our clothes.
When we asked the front desk if they would be able to order a taxi for us for the next day, we were told that they might be able to give us a phone number. Fortunately the next day's front desk person called for a taxi without any problems.
We spent 4 nights there. After the 2nd night we got some service while we were out: the towels were changed and the bed was made. But we found the door to the room open (not locked, made it to be stay open). I was in the room from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Nobody got even close to the door. I felt unsafe. There were short times during the day when there was nobody at the front desk, so anybody could walk in and go up to the rooms.
The elevator is a "lift", partially electric. We had to open the inside gate and the door by hand. The first time we used it, we realized that it was a 2-person job. Not to talk about that it happened twice that somehow at one of the stops the door had not closed. Meaning that the lift was stuck. Both times the front desk person was nice enough to run up the stairs and get the lift downstairs."
"The place is beautiful - we loved it . The room and all the sitting areas . The desk people could be a bit more friendly . They don’t seem naturally comfortable and upbeat . The cleaning staff were so kind and helpful . The coffee and tea could be hotter . Was barely Luke warm ."
