Island House Newport is an amazing aparthotel in Newport. Central to everything it was a short walk to get to Thames Street, Cliff Walk, shopping, groceries, and museums. Great service too. AC was ice cold and the dishwasher and washer/dryer combo was very useful. Plenty of dishes to serve stay at home meals. The one bedroom setup is perfect for families with one child, as the sleeper sofa was comfortable for my teen, but could support two smaller children. We missed staying here as soon as we got home. We hope to come back in the future!

Island House Newport was absolutely perfect. It doesn’t feel like a hotel at all, it truly feels like a home. The space, design, and attention to detail made it incredibly comfortable, especially traveling with our 1-year-old. Everything felt calm, private, and thoughtfully set up for a family stay. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back.

The hotel was extremely clean and parking was a breeze with a private lot right behind. The only thing I wish they had is a reception area indoors. When traveling with multiple adults, it's nice to be able to get out of the room and drink coffee/read while the other is still waking up. They do have a fabulous covered area outdoors, however, for the warmer months.

Wonderful new property with beautiful rooms. It was a little bit loud in the room above us for more than half the night so maybe a little bit better insulation would’ve been good, it sounded like they were doing tap dancing and moving furniture all night.

What a gem! I almost didn’t want to leave a review because this place is such a gorgeous hotel and I want to come back. We come to Newport often and this was the best stay we’d had yet (and I’ve been in a dozen hotels). Beautifully decorated down to real flowers. We stayed in a suite and the pull out bed was so comfy. Highly Recommend - we will be back!!!

The staff was friendly and professional. The room was beautiful. The beds are very high, I am 5'1 and had a hard time getting on them, a step stool would be ideal. There should be a table in the bathroom to put your toiletries on, there really in no counter space available. But overall, it is an ideal location, and a lovely room.

We had a pipe break at our condo and had to move out while it was being repaired. The Island House was perfect. We had a suite that felt very much like home. It had everything we needed to be comfortable from a large bed to a refrigerator to utensils and beautiful plate and flatware. The hotel is extremely clean, it is brand new, and has all modern fixtures, technology, and finishes. The staff was great, checking in via text everyday. We would highly recommend the Island House.
