Great location and the hotel is very clean and in excellent condition. Thought the price was high for the time of year (mid- Oct). We were just there for a night so I thought it was crazy that we had to pay a resort fee considering the restaurant was not open and we were told we had to be out by 11:00am because they were closing the hotel for the week. Other than that the staff was friendly and we enjoyed our stay.
Stardust was perfect for us! We were visiting family in the area and the motel was centrally located to make it easy to get to anything we needed. The owners were very accommodating and it was obvious they cared about us. The room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend and will be back.
Big clean room, fire pit was awesome, breakfast options were top notch, we travel often so thats a statement, best stay in awhile. Didnt use but gym looked good, pool room was too warm but noce clean area.
The staff was great! The room was lovely, comfortable, and clean. The continental breakfast had more choices than we expected, everything was delicious, and Mark was very nice and helpful! The private beach was wonderful. It was beautiful, not very crowded, and had a lifeguard on duty. We will definitely stay there again!
Good coffee (which is rare) and plentiful breakfast. Although chilly outside, always nice stepping through those warm doors. Very friendly and helpful staff. This is the only place we will stay in Groton.
Very nice family friendly motel! We were pleasantly surprised how modern, immaculate and homey it was for the great rate we got on short notice. Tons of things for kids to do. Pool, volleyball and badminton nets, shuffle board, bean bags and nice big sand box. Charcoal grills, picnic tables and chairs on a large lot in a quiet area of Charlestown. VERY clean. The room we had was nicely decorated. The staff were all very nice. The free breakfast was excellent. The hotel is just a short walk to the beach.Even better, the hotel gives you a pass key and bracelets to their own private beach. They even let you use a beach bag with beach towels. We look forward to staying here again.
We chose the Aquastar because it was close to the Trolls in Ninigret Park. Our room was clean, quiet, with a comfortable bed. Just what we were looking for.
The Pleasant View Inn is the best place to stay in Misquamicut. It overlooks the ocean, has a pool and an excellent restaurant and bar. The staff makes the hotel feel like it is family-owned, many have been there for years. From the GM Joe, to Susan at the front desk to Danielle, Alyssa and Chelsea in the restaurant, they all make sure that every detail is taken care of and that guests can relax and enjoy everything the area has to offer. We will definitely be back as many times as we can...
