This property was stunning. Gorgeous views westward over the rolling Tuscan hills, paired with a cozy spa and relaxing outdoor pool were the perfect setting for a portion of our honeymoon. The staff was very friendly/helpful and management certainly does a superb job maintaining this historical setting.

Castello Banfi - Il Borgo is either a great place to anchor your restoration or to invigorate your exploration.
There's plenty to do on property: a wine tour through the high-tech wine production facility; wine tasting overlooking the Tuscan landscape (you have a substantial selection to choose from); lounging by the pool overlooking the many acres of grape vines, olive and plum trees, and the hills beyond; a visit to their glass museum; an intimate cooking class with one of the top Chefs in...

Such a wonderful property in every way - this restored Tuscan farmhouse has been updated with all the modern comforts while preserving its Italian past.
We stayed for three nights over a weekend and loved it so much we booked the same place for the next weekend! The rooms are great, bedding delicious, and breakfast a treat…

This was the most amazing place to stay! This was our favorite stop on a 30-day trip to Greece, Italy and Switzerland. The surrounding countryside is stunning. Our room had a Turkish Bath - what a fun experience. We were a couple of weeks in to our vacation, and we were ready for some down time. Having a private little garden, overlooking the Tuscan hillside was WONDERFUL. The dinner we had on site was one of the best of our entire trip. Breakfast in the morning was an incredible display...

Wonderful, beautiful property! The rooms are immaculate and nicely decorated. Breakfast is bountiful with wonderful homemade tarts, breads, frittatas. Do not miss dining in the restaurant for dinner. We had several dinners among the best of our 3 week trip to Italy. The staff is very professional, friendly and passionate about their job. Thank you Vito and Caterina for going above and beyond expectations and making our stay one I will never forget. We are already planning our return.

We were the only guests for 2 nights out of 3, at this lovely B&B on the estate of one of the best wineries in Tuscany. We had sumptuous room with a living room, bedroom and bathroom (nice shower!) all to ourselves. The staff were local women, who made a wonderful breakfast every day and told us of the life in Tuscany. The place was spotless, the food great, and it was so relaxing to come " home" to the vineyards every night, after seeing hordes of people in the towns we explored. One could...

The place is very clean and quiet. It is in an exclusive neighborhood. Very safe to walk around. Their staff are very friendly and very service oriented. Breakfast was faboulous.
The only thing is, it is a little further away from the city. Need a taxi to go anywhere but the taxi is also readily available and staff will call them for us. Wait time is very short usually less than 10 minutes.

My husband and I have been fortunate to stay in many of the best hotels, both large and small, in the world. Borgo Santo Pietro has now seized the "top spot", surpassing our former favorite on the Amalfi coast. No detail has been missed. The rooms are exquisite, the service impeccable, the grounds beautiful and the food is world class. We enjoyed our five course tasting menu so much one evening that we requested the alternative tasting menu the following evening. While incredibly inventive, the...

Very nice hotel. Staff was very friendly and polite. Receptionist even walked us to our room, which I had never experienced before. Check-in was very smooth. After check out, they let us keep our car and luggage in their property for the day as long as needed, which was very thoughtful of them. Room was very nice, although it actually felt a little hot and we had to open window. But we didn't ask for help with that so that was our fault. Overall, amazing experience at hotel. This place was a dream. The pool was the best. The staff were so pleasing and willing to accommodate in anyway possible. The a/c in the room was perfect especially for hot July day. We hope to be back someday!

I had a great experience here that far exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect, just a short walk from major tourist attractions. The morning breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety to start the day. One standout feature was the complimentary snacks and drinks in the minibar—such a thoughtful touch that truly enhanced the experience.

Loved this hotel! I stayed here with my husband for our honeymoon and couldn't have asked for a better place. The grounds and gardens are stunning with an awesome view of the Tuscan hill sides. The spa and pool are great for relaxing after coming back from wine tasting. This is truly a gem in the middle of Chianti.
