We travelled by train so was great to find a bus nearby to take us to the station . A very easy walk into town of Lucca which is beautiful. Stayed a week at Hotel San Marco so could have done with some variety in the breakfast . The pool area was great for relaxing before and after any day trips out and about . Room was well equipped , bit dark as had no windows but the bonus was a private garden with seating and table. Overall a great stay

Great outside area and a short walk to wonderful Lucca Just 2 “bad” things, the otherwise very nice pool really needs a good cleaning We rented a bike for a max 2,5 hours - for that we paid 38 EUR… unfortunately we didn’t see it until after check out

Spent three nights at this beautiful, clean well located hotel, welcoming, informative happy hosts. Fabulous breakfast choice and relaxed comfortable dining area. We hired a bike at the hotel to travel and explore the gorgeous walled city. Easy to navigate and a great choice of eating/drinking places.

Excellent hotel with staff who were very friendly, helpful and great with languages. Great pool with loungers and cafe area adjoining with lush gardens. 8 minutes from Lucca walls and quiet area.
