"Great stay , very friendly and welcoming staff on arrival.
On a very cold night it was great to step into a lovely , cosy warm room . Good nights sleep and a great breakfast.

"Mere Brook is a lovely place to stay. The house and grounds are beautiful and the room was very clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was self service but everything was fresh and well stocked.
We travelled in for a football match and very easy to get into Liverpool. Probably better than going in via the M62.
Will definitely book again and highly recommended."

"Staff and restaurant very nice, rooms are dated. We stayed in an Exec Room which we felt was on the small side, it didn't feel like an upgrade from a classic room.
Tea/Coffee and water in the room is complimentary, everything else is chargable.
Overall it was a very nice stay, once in the room I didnt get the

The layout of room was ideal for me as I was travelling for work and found the kitchenette a great addition, as mentioned on other reviews there is a minibar/fridge which is stocked with soft and alcoholic drinks and chocolates. The toiletries are the White Company brand and smell wonderful. It was very thoughtful to have complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate...
