Cardiff and related destinations
Between the medieval walls of Cardiff Castle and the ultramodern curves of Wales Millennium Centre lies a city that refuses to be typecast. Wander through Cardiff Market where vendors hawk everything from Welsh cakes to vintage vinyl. The National Museum houses Impressionist masterpieces that would make Paris jealous, displayed with Welsh understatement. Rugby matches at Principality Stadium transform the city into a sea of red jerseys and song. Bute Park offers an unexpected urban wilderness where locals picnic beside the River Taff. For family adventures, Barry Island Pleasure Park delivers seaside nostalgia just a short trip away. Don't miss Cardiff Bay, where restaurants occupy former docklands with harbor views worth lingering over.

"Fantastic big rooms with 2 double beds. Location good for Bay Area (walk) and bus to city center but a lot of construction So nothing scenic to look at."
Novotel Cardiff Centre
"Good Overall The staff were all very r helpful. The play area for kids was a great surprise. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was much better then I thought so good surprise again. The only downside is that the changing rooms for the fitness centre definitely needs some TLC. (Broken shower (as in the tap handle has completely fallen off), swimsuit dryer broken etc) but overall I would recommend especially if you are travelling with kids"
