"We stayed for 4 nights at this beautiful hotel - it has incredible views over Chania and we loved lounging on the balcony by the pool in an afternoon. The service was excellent (breakfast was huge!) and the hotel is perfectly equipped. Be aware that the walk into town is quite far but the number 18 bus stops only a few minutes away from the hotel and takes less than 20 minutes to the town centre. We can't wait to come back!"

"Eclectic boutique hotel at back of village. Parking virtually impossible unless you incur wrath of local villagers. Hotel car park difficult to locate and a long walk from hotel. After being incorrectly escorted into a windowless basic room, we were correctly moved to the superior room we had booked, which was perfectly spacious, quiet and modern. "We loved our stay at Halepa! What a gem. The rooftop garden and jacuzzi/pool were a lovely touch. There's a gym downstairs and a sauna. Also, the parking lot was perfect for us. The staff were so kind and friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the breakfast. NOT vegan-friendly. I emailed ahead of time requesting more options and they said there were many to choose from, but this was not the case. Fruit and a few veggies, olives and bread. That's about it. I would love to have seen more...

"I highly recommend this property. The room is quiet, clean and easy access to the harbor. We are welcomed with local fruits, raki and champion in the room. The owner is so nice. She gave us a good introduction to the history of the area and recommendations for shopping and the restaurants at the time of check in. We followed her advice and were very satisfied. When we checked out, she also told us to stop by a nice beach
