The hotel manager and front desk team were incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel is beautifully located right in front of a stunning lake and majestic mountains. I accidentally left my computer in an Uber, and the hotel manager and team went above and beyond to help me recover it. I truly appreciated their patience, support, and warm hospitality. I feel so lucky to have stayed at this beautiful hotel, and I will definitely choose it again when I return to visit Lucerne.

Great room, cozy and with some personality (not a cookie-cutter hotel room- wood panels, comfortable chairs, etc.) Incredibly beautiful view of the lake and mountains with a small balcony. Hotel Felmis turned out to be a very good choice for my wife and me. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the mountains from our room. We were driving, so we appreciated the very convenient parking. We took the bus from right in front of the hotel to downtown Lucerne, without having to hassle with parking in Lucerne. The area around the hotel is very nice.

We asked for a lake view room upon reservation and when we arrived, we were upgraded to a suite with not only a lake view, but a balcony. The accommodations were not only spacious and comfortable, but the room was beautifully appointed with an antique desk and dresser, lovely chandeliers, roomy closets and a double sink bathroom. Details and little touches make this hotel special. We received a bowl of fruit, a handwritten note of welcome, and binoculars to enjoy the spectacular views offered...

We had a fantastic room on the third floor with a view of the beautiful lake. The staff were extremely pleasant especially checking in and out. The breakfast was very good and so fresh. Tea and coffee plentiful as with croissants and all other quality breakfast items. The beds are super comfortable and room spacious. Will definitely be coming again.

WOW I mean the views from this place cannot be beat. You absolutely MUST request a river facing room (you can see the beautiful snow capped mountains of Pilatus on a clear day). It is worth every penny. Additionally, your stay gets your a visitors pass with discounted rates on transport throughout the city. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind as well. We will DEFINITELY be coming back!

Walking distance to Old town Luzern

We loved this unique boutique hotel! Comfortable, clean, nice people, good convenient area, easily walkable from the train station. Very delicious treat left on our bed upon arrival. I judge a hotel by the shower…is the water very hot, does it trickle or stream, things like that. This hotel had a great shower! There was no air conditioner, but we were fine in early June. Very good breakfast as well.

Great staff and great location! The only problem I had was the toillet in my room had no door! So if you are not comfortable, make sure to ask from staff!

The staff was great but Expedia may want to stop using the motel. Every night except Saturday and Sunday (Easter weekend) it was very loud outside until 1 pm. Loud music, loud talking and traffic noise came from outside the hotel, I do not know if it came from the restaurant or the bar across the street. The windows need to be upgraded. It’s our first time to travel in Europe and this is officially our first hotel and we loved it, so close to everything that we want to do in Lucerne, staff are very helpful and accommodating. We would love to comeback here someday 😊
