"I loved this hotel; it met all my expectations!"

"The property is absolutely beautiful, and well maintained. The staff, especially Frank the concierge, is very attentive and responded quickly to all requests. I went to Tulum to celebrate my 50th, and it did not disappoint!! Frank and staff decorated and maintained the room daily. I returned from my daily outing to a new surprise daily! My family ordered balloons, wine, and a cake- everything was spectacular. They really paid attention to detail. Things to know: -The hotel is not on a beach, but it is near it- short 10 min taxi ride away -The hotel has beach cabanas but does not provide a way to get there- I suggest they have shuttle service to these cabanas for customers to enjoy, as taxi’s are not cheap -There are local bike/vespas for rent -There are great restaurants within walking distance- we had great local food, and Pizza nearby. -Near activities like snorkeling, and the ruins - but you have to pay for transportation to get there - They offer complimentary Continental breakfast (fruit, coffee, yogurt parfait, toast, and Jam)- delicious! -You have a private outdoor soak pool in your room. but be mindful of mosquitoes- they are vicious! I recommend a stay here, but i recommend you either rent a car, or Vespa to get around, as taxis are costly. Buy the local mosquito repellent!! You’ll need it for outdoor dining, and activities."

"This is a really nice hotel. Glad I wasn’t deterred by the negative reviews. The hotel is secure, there is security on the premises and cameras all around. I felt safe. The staff were very helpful and friendly, even got a baby lizard out of our room lol. It’s close to everything, no more than 10-15 minutes away. Taxis are high, we used ride shares but they are not welcomed by the taxi drivers so be aware of pick up locations. The place is so serene, really quiet and relaxing. The restaurant on site has really good breakfast. The power did go out on our last day for a few hours which is common in Tulum fyi. We just enjoyed nature and the pool during that time, plus the common areas like the lobby and restaurant has backup generators and were still operating as normal. Will stay here again. "

"We experienced a power/water outage and did not get any helpful assistance. This ruined our plans as it was our only day in Tulum and we were unable to shower or charge our devices. We understand some things are out of the control of the property but there was no helpful solution offered and instead the entire day was ruined."

"My only complaint will be the hot tub, It did have hot/warm water as describe in Expedia, it is basically a 4x4 pool (with only cold water)"

"Everyone was so pleasant! The breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt and some additional items were delicious. I enjoyed the social hour and took the opportunity to talk to a couple of people. Jose and another concierge made perfect recommendations for excursions."

"This is our third time staying at the Kiki. We keep returning because of how consistently well kept, clean, and organized this apartment is. The communication with Oliver is outstanding. He always meets our expectation, and travelling as a family, sometimes we have a lot requests. The pool was necessary because of the seaweed at the beaches! We look forward to returning. "
