"This is a cheap option on an expensive city. If you are looking for efficient and inexpensive, this is it. Close to the train station. Check in is done on computer monitors in the lobby. The rooms small but comfortable enough—but no closet, which could matter for a longer stay. unlike many Nordic hotels, breakfast isn’t included and the one you pay for is fine, but not as good or varied as other hotels I have stayed in in Sweden and Finland. Also, I lost Wi-Fi every time within a minute of logging in."
"Wakeup wasn't a super cheap hotel, but it was good my comparison for Copenhagen. It was a budget style hotel with smaller rooms, similar to an Easy Hotel but a little bigger. There was plenty of room and the shower area was clean and didn't leak water under doors, as some hotels do.
The hotel itself was huge and there were so many guests. This made breakfast a bit busy after about 7am, but the price of the breakfast was good value and the selection was really good. They had fresh, warm bread every morning and these little pastries that were just delicious. I would definitely recommend the breakfast.
The staff at breakfast were numerous and constantly refilled the buffet and collected plates.
What I loved most about the hotel was the check in/out procedure. It can be entirely done via an app, without even using the terminals in the lobby. Your room key is then on your phone. The unlocking of the lifts was sometimes a little unresponsive though.
The hotel is right around the corner from Kongens Nytorv, and the Metro there. That Metro station will connect you easily to the airport. I actually walked everywhere in Copenhagen. It's a very walkable city."
"The hotel is very nice. Our room was a bit small by U.S. standards, but functional. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent location. We opted for access to “The Lounge”. This turned out to be a unique highlight of this hotel. Highly recommend the lounge option. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, so cannot comment. Overall great stay."
"The hotel, generally was quite nice. Everywhere was clean & in good condition. We didn't really deal with the staff much to be honest, as most things can be done via the Aero app. There's an Italian restaurant attached to the hotel, where I found the staff to be quite rude, with the exception of a Spanish waiter who was friendly & quite funny. The food there was excellent though. Apart from that, the only downside really was the smell from the drains in the bathroom occasionally & when someone was using the toilet/shower in the room above/adjacent to ours, the water pipes made a high pitched noise, which at night was loud enough to wake us up.
I would however happily return to this hotel, if I was ever back in Copenhagen."
