What a gem in this magical city. We loved where it was located a walk to all the heart (cathedral and restaurants etc) but during the day when it’s so over run with tourists you’re not in the center of it. The beds were fabulous! Best sleep of the trip. The best part was the staff and breakfast. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. They didn’t even shame me when I had 3 cappuccinos at breakfast (they’re small!) Loved this place!

The room was very charming and unique - in one of the historic sassi (cave hewn into the rocks) but with all the modern amenities you could wish for. Great place but difficult to find (see note at bottom if you want to avoid the 60 minutes it took me to find the place after arriving in the new town). One of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed at. Restored Palazzo next to the hill top Duomo in the Sassi with fantastic views over the old city and the canyons. Rooms were spacious, very tastefully decorated in keeping with the beauty of the building, and also up to date with thoughtful touches such as heated floors. Only minor ding with the...
