Palias Hotel was wonderful! Nice rooms and clean and great location, 5 minutes walk to restaurants. Best of all Roberto was super friendly and helpful and welcoming! He made coffee and gave us homemade sandwiches when we missed breakfast. He was extremely friendly and happy to help with our travel plans. You feel well cared for at Palias! Definitely stay here if doing rafting or any national park activities. Antica Laos was recommended by Roberto and it was by far the best meal we've had...

We arrived late on a Sunday in a heavy downpour. The town is very remote and there were zero options to eat anywhere or not even any supermarket. The owner originally said that his restaurant was closed on Sundays, but then felt bad for us and opened it just for us. The meal was great and he only charged us 53 euros for a dinner with wine. Oh my, it was Easter day when we arrived 3pm. So accommodating, they showed us to our room and the mini bar. Beautiful place, our room had the balcony looking out to the ocean. every hour you could hear the church on the mountain bells. Breakfast was great also cappuccino's and fresh baked goods and fruit. A walk to the beach down the hill was a delight!!! Beautiful weather wonderfull people. Very close to the sky walk. Stay Here!
