Property is absolutely beautiful and service is very good. Staff assisted us on many matters. Even after we checked out and ran into some issues with local rental car company, due to language barriers, we reached out to La Zambra for help and they tried their best. It is conveniently located in the middle, Malaga to the east, Marbella to the west and Ronda to the North. Mijas is 20 minutes drive up the hills.

I stayed at El Pilar last March and returned for one night because of the service, location and beautiful property. The front desk is always helpful and always wear a smile. The recognized I had been there in March, so check in was easy. The roof top bar is awesome as is a light breakfast downstairs.

We loved the property, food, service, golf course, restaurant, and pool. We are looking forward to returning next year.

We had a very nice experience at this apartment/hotel. Check in was easy and everyone we encountered was very friendly or helpful if we needed anything. We chose this hotel because of the location. It is right on the beach. It's a short drive to Gibraltar and Malaga. We took a two hour trip to Granada and we also booked an excursion to Tangier, Morocco. Hotel was elegant with extremely attentive, friendly, helpful staff. We felt very welcome. Room was spectacular with ocean view and balcony. Grounds were spacious and welcoming with palm trees and beautiful foliage. Huge indoor pool and huge outdoor pool plus its own beach. Exceptional as usual but we faced a problem at the beginning they didn't give us the room we booked & paid & asked for so we end up paying extra for upgrade to get the room we want .

This is one if the best hotels I've visited during many years of travel throughout Europe. The property is beautiful and the location is great. Words can not describe the village the hotel is located and the location overlook the med. sea. We liked the polite multilingual staff, nightly entertainment, reasonably priced daily specials, great location, beautiful premises right on the boardwalk, free airport transfers, spacious rooms, bathrooms & balconies. Just wished that the kitchenette had a microwave & some more counter space. Will definitely stay there again.

Perfect location and the breakfast buffet was yummy

My wife and I spent 5 wonderful days at Riu Nautalis in Spain. The Hotel was clean, comfortable and the Buffet had some wonderful food choices. The hotel was near the beach and was within walking distance of shops, reasaurants and bars. We had a wonderful time and will use Riu hotels in the future.
