Property is absolutely beautiful and service is very good. Staff assisted us on many matters. Even after we checked out and ran into some issues with local rental car company, due to language barriers, we reached out to La Zambra for help and they tried their best. It is conveniently located in the middle, Malaga to the east, Marbella to the west and Ronda to the North. Mijas is 20 minutes drive up the hills.
This was the most beautiful place I have ever stayed in in my entire life! It was a palace. It had beautiful history. It had a saltwater pool! The staff was absolutely impeccable. Beyond friendly, they made me feel like I was genuinely appreciated and the breakfast was something to behold. The next time I visit Malaga I will only stay at the Miramar. This is a wonderful place for a dream vacation. Unfortunately, we messed up our dinner choices for New Years and a few other nights. We didn’t realize that the Hotel had a sister property with more restaurants. We stayed at the better property but I wish that we had known about the sister property for New Years and more restaurant choices

Particularly in the evenings, where you can sit outside in one of several semi-private courtyards and enjoy a glass of wine, beautiful garden surroundings, and stunning views over the countryside from the castle's perch. The dining room and bar are also wonderful and the food superb. Room was comfortable, fantastic view. Would stay here again in a heartbeat if I'm every back in the region.

The place is amazing, the old town is one of spain's marbles and the port is just a 10 min walk close to the hotel are exceptional restaurants, the beach is very close as well.
