This is a budget hotel and great value for a central location close to the trai. Station. Rooms come with aircon, cleaned daily and most have a balcony. There is a small elevator in the building which is helpful. Rooms also have a tv but there is no safe or fridge. Rooms were clean but pillows were extremely hard. It suited me but I know it would be uncomfortable for a lot of people . I would stay again due to location and value for money.

This Hotel is perfect if you want to be near the train station from Malaga airport and be able to get food and drink in the local restaurants until midnight. We always stay here if we have a late inbound flight as it's easy! The rooms are basic but clean and it's quiet although it's very central. Staff are helpful. Air con is good. Shower pressure good. Comfortable beds. Nice little balcony. Continental breakfast available if you wish for it. Midday check out too. It's all good

Excellent place to stay. Minutes from the station and right in the centre of town so close to all the shops, cafes and restaurants. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. Good WiFi. Plenty of hot water and a good powerful shower. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Would certainly recommend if you want to be in the town rather than on the seafront.

I've stayed at the Sol y Miel many times. The recent refurbishment especially in reception and bar areas is very good and a nice place to sit and relax. As always the staff are very helpful and friendly which made our stay a pleasurable experience.

Great location, great room for the price but the walls are so thin that if someone flushes the toilet anywhere else in the hotel you hear it. I was on the top floor and could still hear staff talking during the night on the bottom floor.

Well maintained and beautiful property. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Beds were comfortable and room was spotless. It is located in the heart of everything and walking distance to the beach and has easy access to trains and buses. The rooms are small and it can be a little noisy in the hallways when people are coming and going, but otherwise it is a great little place to stay and perfectly priced. Would happily stay in the future. Wished they had a communial microwave and coffee maker but not essential for short stays.

The location of this hostel was the best possible! It was in the heart of Benalmadena, near to railway station and bus stop. The hostel was in quite old building, but our room was very silent and clean and there was comfortable beds and clean bedlinen. . Furniture was traditional spanish ( no Ikea!) and there was tv in the room. There was a small balcony, too wich was a nice addition. Under our balcony was walking street, so no noice in the night. Staff was friendly and price was ok, so we do not need anything more .
