Basel-Stadt Hotels

This is a surprisingly nice hotel in a great location. We travelled with another couple and their room was the standard size for European accommodations. However, our room on the top floor was larger with a very cool sky light window. Nevertheless, both rooms were very clean and modern. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a suite on the top floor, large wrap around balcony, fabulous bathroom with bathtub, separate shower, 2 vessel sinks, toilet room, and a TV to watch while bathing. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were super friendly and spent as much time as needed answering our questions and providing us with a converter.

Arrived in the evening, very hot, 33 C, and was greeted with a cold glass of white wine or water, excellent! And so was the rest of our stay —

Great convenient stay right near the airport. The bus to the airport is immediately across the street and starts operating at 4:20am if you have an early flight, otherwise they have an airport shuttle starting around 6 as well. Great comfortable rooms, quiet, and an easy public transit to the city

Very close to the Old Town in Basel. Walking distance with many restaurants, great shopping. Had a car rental and it was easy to get around and find parking to visit the other cities not far from Basel.

The room was a nice size and so was the bathroom It did have an elevator but you had to go up a flight of stairs to your room. We just went up one floor to make it easier to come down with heavy luggage

It was a nice hotel, good rooms, good service. It took ~15mins to walk to it with a suitcase from the train station and was close enough to walk to most of the tourist sights. A good choice for the price point.

Very nice and convient hôtel

Nice room but small. Perfect for 1. A/C during the heat wave. . Nice location by the theater 10 minute stroll to Barfoot Platz. 160 feet to one trolly 700 to another and 1000 ft to the 3 rd. Ez to get around. Nice restaurant pool and a 24 hour kabob shop across street.

Really good

The hotel was very nice, located in central Basel. The only downside was that it, apparently like other recently renovated hotels, did not have air conditioning (and it was unseasonably hot in Basel.
