The Basel Marriott is everything you might expect from an upper end Marriott hotel. The breakfast is outstanding, the rooms are clean, bright, and spacious, and the staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful. They even loaned us a waterproof bag for our swim in the Rhine river -- a must-do for any visit to Basel in the summer!!
