Nice location. Many things to do and see around.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the hotel itself is well cared for and clean. Breakfast, WiFi and other amenities were readily available and above average. The rooftop infinity pool is a MUST if you want to see one of the best views in the area.

Staff extremely helpful, room a delight, loved the hot chocolate at breakfast. Location perfect. Highly recommended.

We wanted to visit Portofino but couldn't find a nice hotel, except for the Belmond. This hotel is superlative in every way

What a unique property! We loved the character of the palace. The decor was really cool. The staff was excellent, great food and cocktails. I enjoyed the Vespar in the bar. Much better to stay here than in or closer to Porto Fino.

Hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. They even helped us make advance dinner reservations at the popular Levanto and nearby Cinque Terre restaurants. Breakfast buffet was great. Room was small by U.S. standards, but that's to be expected in Europe.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Astoria for 6 nights in March. Overall, it is one of the very best hotels I have stayed in over many years of traveling -- solid, classy, very well-located building; comfortable room with a view of the Bay of Tigullio; a bounteous, tasty breakfast; and perhaps most important, hands-on, fully engaged hotel owners and employees who really care for their guests' comfort and enjoyment of the many attractions of Rapallo and the Ligurian coast.

We recently stayed at HM and loved the hotel. We were traveling with our 11 year old son and we were given a room with an adjoining smaller room perfect for our son with his own balcony. The main room was spacious, modern, and also a beautiful balcony with sea view. I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Continental even during the offseason! Our room had panoramic ocean views. The property was well-maintained, peaceful, and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. Was in old town close to everything. Had everything you need and was very clean. We had to wait outside the door to check in, but only for a few minutes.

This was an amazing place! The location is something most people dream about! The view from our room was breathtaking!! We would definitely stay here again!!

Very beautiful historical building located extremely close to the central rail station. I came here after having a bad experience with a local Airbnb and ended up loving it despite booking on incredibly short notice. You get so much value for your money, and it’s so close to so many fun things to explore. Highly recommend it!
