Learn more about La Spezia
A bustling naval port with unexpected charm, where fishermen sell their catch alongside military vessels in the harbor. The Naval Museum reveals maritime history while Castello San Giorgio offers panoramic views of the Gulf. Take a ferry to the famous Cinque Terre villages for cliff-hugging trails and colorful seaside towns. Cheese shops dot the historic center, where locals gather at Piazza Garibaldi for evening passeggiata. The waterfront promenade leads to Parco XXV Aprile's shady respite. Don't miss the annual Palio del Golfo rowing race, when neighborhood rivalries erupt into friendly competition. The Cattedrale di Cristo Re provides a modernist counterpoint to the city's medieval corners. Arrive by train to avoid parking headaches.

Fidelio
"I have nothing bad to say about this place, and I am so glad we chose this place! We stayed here for two nights with our teens during our trip. Everything was wonderful from the location, cleanliness, the amenities, well-equipped kitchen, and daily housekeeping (this is a rare service after Covid!). The host lady- I didnt get her name sadly - was very kind. The AC worked great kitchen had everything we needed, and the bed was very comfortable. The elevator was out of service during our stay. So we had to climb up-and-down to the 3rd floor, however this was not an issue with everything else being wonderful. I would highly recommend this place."
Hotel Firenze E Continentale
"The hotel was gorgeous- the staff was amazing, the location was perfect. There was one flaw. The WiFi was horrible on every floor except the lobby - it was constantly dropping and since cell signal in the area was bad we would have trouble utilizing the internet to find restaurants, buy tickets etc…. I am sure they will get the WiFi fixed and those hotel will be great. Even with the WiFi issues, I highly recommend it."
The Poet Hotel
"The hotel lobby vibe is very energetic and positive. The staffs are amazing and helpful. My room is on the first floor with no lift access and they help us to bring up to our room and carry it down for check out. I had an injury of my wrist and needed ice compression and they were very kind to give me the ice pack for free. However, room is slightly cramped for 2 30” luggages"
La Casa delle Acciughe
"Accommodation was central, clean and well maintained. Martina provided great communication and check in. There is no parking but we parked at Europa Car Park which cost us 18 Euro per day, it was more secure and better maintained then the train station parking lot. The room was just like the photos, and we could walk across the road for dinner/breakfast, great location! Thank you!"
Hotel Corallo
"The central location was Ideal. Great host provided some helpful tips on the city and area."
Affittacamere Casa Danè
"Very nice property, next to the station, very nice rooms and service. The only thing to keep into consideration is no elevator (which may or may not be an issue) depending on your luggage. Highly recommended."

"This stay was everything I needed. The staff was very helpful and considerate. My only advice to travelers is to consider taking a taxi to get there, as the walk from the train station (and vice versa) is about a half hour, mostly uphill."
