Lots to do within walking distance. From restaurants to the marina with all the beautiful boats. We enjoyed great food and wine during our stay and took the ferry to Montarro and Monterosso for the day. Took the train back. Cinque Terre is easily reachable for day trips from this location.

88 Miglia was spectacular. The best view in all of La Spezia. The hike to the hotel took us through a nice neighborhood with cool views.
The owners were so nice and welcomed us well. We took the local train to Manarola and Riomaggiore in the Cinque Terre area (very close to La Spezia).

The place lives up to its name of “luxurious room”. The room is recently renovated and is modern, clean and well provisioned, even with slippers. It is located near the cruise ship pier and has restaurants nearby. The host is extremely gracious and hospitable. He not only waited to welcome us well into the night but also drove us to the Castle when we could not find a taxi to go there. The interaction with him left us a wonderful memory for La Spezia.
Our stay was short since we were wanting to visit the Cinque Terre area for half a day. This room fit our needs perfectly and beyond our expectations. The location was a five minute walk to the train station. This newly renovated room was clean and beautiful. Great shower! Calming decor. There was a safe and refrigerator in the room along with a shared kitchette area. Stefan was responsive, timely and professional. I definitely recommend this hidden gem!

We stayed with 3 adults in one room. It was spacious and comfortable, pleasingly furnished and quiet considering it is right above the train station. There is no elevator and if you are traveling with heavy suit cases you have to lug them to the second floor. But that was the only draw back. Very nice hotel and people. The room was clean. They serve breakfast and provide several choices for all tastes. They were very cooperative with the luggage before checking in and after checking out. LA Spezia was a good place to visit. I enjoyed my time there.
This room was really nice. Newly updated with modern furnishings and very high end finishes. There were of course 5 flights of stairs, but anywhere in this region will pretty much have stairs. We stayed in the blue room and had a beautiful view. My only recommendation would be to add a mirror outside the bathroom (either over the desk or a full length on next to door). We would definitely stay here again.
