We checked in with the assistance of a wonderful Asian man. Very courteous and friendly. Not all the staff were as friendly. Our room was nice but there was a terrible smell like drains. We spoke to Italian man on reception who said it was cleaning products. It wasn't. We asked to be moved but he said the hotel was full :There were 3 tables occupied at breakfast. The room was clean however and the bed comfortable. When we checked out we saw the Asian receptionist man who said he would have moved us. On that basis we have to say the stay wasn't perfect.

Staff all go above and beyond to make your stay a great experience! In Italy when it’s cooler weather, they control the AC and they feel you don’t need it. Most hotels do the same. I asked if there was anything they can do because I like sleeping with cold ac regardless of the temperature outside. He first said nothing could be done but somehow the ac started to cool. The location is safe and wonderful and close to everything, no need to drive. Love all of it!

Spending time in Santa Margherita

We loved our time in Santa Margherita and would come back. It has everything you need from beaches, bars and restaurants and shopping. The people are friendly and it is a very pretty place where you can do day trips to lots of places.

I would like to start this review with ... I was in awe when we went inside our room, it felt like 5 stars hotel, the room seemed like a picture taken from a home decorating magazine, room was furnished with very good taste. In the morning we had petite dejeuner and I felt like being in a very expensive hotel, there was nothing to dislike about this property, in fact I highly recommend it when visiting Santa Margherita Ligure
