"This is our second time staying at WaterWalk in Jacksonville and our first time with our dog. As it was a last-minute change, I called en route, and Felicia (sp?) was very helpful about adding our dog. We had an issue with a key before checkout so I dropped by the desk to ask why upon our departure. Mike was very friendly and professional and offered I speak with the manager, Felicia, to get the exact answer. Felicia was wonderful explaining the system had an earlier checkout attached to our room. We began talking about Jax. and our possible move there, and Felicia and Mike were great at discussing different parts of town, and were positive and proud of the city, offering information, and they were very interested in listening to my thoughts as well. The room was clean and comfortable, and the grounds are well-maintained."

"I think it’s a bit unfair that out of state customers only pay $20 per night towards the hold on the room but if you live in state you pay $100 per night that is extremely expensive"

"The staff was incredibly nice! I made the reservation via Hotels.com, which said the hotel was pet friendly. When I arrived and said I had a pet, they said the policy is dogs less than 25 pounds. Well, my dog is three times that! This was not mentioned online when I made the reservation. But the staff allowed is to stay and we were very well behaved. (Much better than the 10-pound dog down the hall which barked a lot!) The bed was super comfy! I’d love to know what bedding/mattress the hotel uses. Very nice! The shower was a bit touchy. Not much temperature range. "

Housekeeping made sure we had everything we needed and was very professional as well. We will definitely be staying again soon!"
