Fisherman's Wharf
Discover Pier 39, Ghirardelli Square, and the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park in this bustling tourist hotspot. Savor seafood at family-owned restaurants and explore the sea lion colony, while enjoying convenient cable car access.

Nob Hill
Luxury hotels, historic mansions, and Michelin-starred restaurants abound in this upscale area. Explore Union Square shopping district, Grace Cathedral, and the SF Masonic Auditorium for a taste of culture and history.

Union Square
Major tourist destination in downtown San Francisco, Union Square boasts shopping, hotels, and theaters. Explore department stores, boutiques, and galleries, or catch a performance at various theaters. Enjoy the Dewey Monument and stunning views from nearby hotels. Easily accessible via cable car lines, buses, and subway systems.

Mission District
The Mission District pulses with colorful murals that tell stories of Latino heritage and artistic rebellion. On weekends, locals sprawl across Dolores Park with skyline views and picnic spreads. Wander down 24th Street to discover authentic taquerias, quirky boutiques, and the historic Mission Dolores, San Francisco's oldest building. Getting around is a breeze with two BART stations and several bus lines connecting you to downtown. Hip cafes and lively bars along Valencia Street make perfect spots for people-watching, while the neighborhood's mix of Victorian homes and street art creates a vibe that's both gritty and charming.

South of Market
SoMa packs San Francisco's artistic spirit into a neighborhood that's constantly reinventing itself. Converted warehouses now house cutting-edge galleries while SFMOMA's towering glass facade invites you to explore world-class contemporary art. Oracle Park brings baseball energy to the bay, and Yerba Buena Gardens offers a peaceful green escape from the urban buzz. Getting around couldn't be easier with Yerba Buena-Moscone Station and several other transit stops connecting you to the entire city. The restaurant scene ranges from food trucks to upscale dining in industrial-chic spaces. Most visitors stay in modern hotels or boutique properties housed in historic buildings with architectural character.

San Francisco and related destinations
Fog rolls across the Golden Gate Bridge while cable cars clank up impossibly steep hills lined with candy-colored Victorian houses. At Pier 39, sea lions bark and pose as if auditioning for wildlife documentaries. The Mission's muralists transform walls into canvases while locals debate which taqueria serves the definitive burrito. Alcatraz broods in the bay, its audio tour narrated by former guards and inmates. Golden Gate Park hides surprises around every bend – Japanese gardens, actual bison, and museums where you could happily lose an afternoon. For the best city views, skip the tourist crowds at Lombard Street and head to Twin Peaks, where the whole magnificent bay panorama unfolds at your feet.

Hyatt Regency San Francisco
"amazing place, classic, great view of The Embarcadero ferry Building, the best"
Hilton San Francisco Union Square
"Great location in Union Square with easy access to BART, making it convenient for getting around the city. The hotel also has onsite parking, although the $70 overnight parking fee feels a little steep. As a Gold member, I was disappointed with the inconsistency in how my benefits were handled. The front desk agent who checked me in offered me a $36 credit, but when I later spoke with a different front desk agent, I was told the credit could not be honored because I had booked through Expedia. It wasn't really about the $36 - it was the lack of consistency between the two employees and, more importantly, the manner in which the second agent responded that left a poor impression. There was also a cleanliness issue in the room. The in-room coffee machine had a noticeable layer of dust on it, making it look like it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. Overall, the location is a definite plus, but the inconsistent customer service and attention to room cleanliness could be better."
Stanford Court San Francisco
"Good location as long as you use the cable cars. buy the muni tickets through the app and you will save a lot of money"
Hotel Riu Plaza Fisherman's Wharf
"Comfortable. Convenient location. Good breakfast. Adequate workout facility. Hot tub works have been nice since it was too cold to use pool."
FOUND Hotel Carlton, Nob Hill
"The only issie I had was that you can hear the people in the next room talking. So it was hard to get to sleep. The walls seem "thin" in this hotel. Stayed here before and same thing. Could almost hear the conversation. City noise is always an issue but thats not the hotels fault. A garbage truck doing something woke me up at 4:30am. Loud banging and glass breaking for about an hour. Wasnt sure what it was. Other than that, the place was clean and bed/pillows very comfortable. Riom was a good temperature. The staff is super friendly. Ill continue to use this hotel."
The Pickwick Hotel
"Love the location I always stay there when in SF"
