Between honky-tonks on Broadway, catch tomorrow's country stars playing for tips beside veterans who've seen it all. The Grand Ole Opry still broadcasts live, while the Ryman Auditorium's perfect acoustics explain why it's called the 'Mother Church of Country Music.' Beyond twang, explore the National Museum of African American Music's interactive exhibits celebrating overlooked musical pioneers. The Musicians Hall of Fame honors the session players behind your favorite hits. After dark, locals skip tourist traps for authentic bluegrass jams in unassuming East Nashville bars. Even non-country fans find themselves tapping toes at the Station Inn, where bluegrass virtuosos perform with casual brilliance in a room that hasn't changed since the 1970s.

Holiday Inn Nashville - Vanderbilt (Dwtn) by IHG
"This is next to the stadium. Expensive rooms. Parking is tight, $35 self park, $45 valet. Ac was weak. Breakfast expensive. Staff was the only thing i liked. Next time i would stay further away for half the price."
Holiday Inn Express Nashville Downtown - Broadway by IHG
"Clean room. Friendly staff. Free late checkout (12:30pm rather than 11am). Included breakfast was good, replenished often. 24/7 free coffee. Free appetizers and live music 4-6pm was a nice bonus."

Drury Plaza Hotel Nashville Downtown
"I took my daughters to Nashville to see a concert. We stayed here because it’s my favorite hotel in Nashville. It’s a little expensive but it’s worth it. It’s really nice and fun. There’s a free cocktail hour with appetizers and a really nice pool. The staff is really nice and it’s very conveniently located near all of the fun things to do in Nashville. We will definitely be back."
Virgin Hotels Nashville
"The hotels front reception staff and porters were so helpful when we arrived and departed. The hotel itself was fabulous- beds were very comfortable and rooms were clean and spacious. The pool bar was lovely and the bar staff here were all really friendly. The only minor criticism was the housekeeping knocking on the door at 8.30 am both mornings - not ideal after your night in Nashville and forgetting to leave towels but soon resolved when we contacted reception. We loved the location- 15 walk to Broadway, £5 uber back. Nice bar as well downstairs. Great stay and would highly recommend to others who want to experience Nashville but stay in a calmer stylish area. Thank you to the great friendly team here."
Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown
"Hotel was very clean and close to everything downtown. The restaurant was delicious. Check in was smooth and fast even though we arrived earlier than check in time. We will definitely be back!"
