Skiers and snowboarders might want to test out the slopes at Grimentz Ski Resort, a skiing spot located 1.7 mi (2.7 km) from central Anniviers. If you master the slopes, Zinal-Sorebois and Grands Plans are both nearby.
You might want to practice your swing at Golf Club Crans-sur-Sierre, a golf course located 0.7 mi (1.1 km) from central Crans. If Golf Club Crans-sur-Sierre doesn't quite scratch your golfing itch, Golf Club of Sion is just a short drive away.
Zinal - Sorebois Cable Car is just one of the landmarks located 0.4 mi (0.6 km) from central Zinal, so you might want to stop by for a few pics during your trip. Zinal has other activities you might want to enjoy such as Breuil-Cervinia Ski Area.
The hotel is very comfortable and carefully maintained. The staff could not have been more welcoming. Their professionalism, bonhomie, and kindness are exemplary. I should add that the food at the Hostellerie du Pas de L'Ours is superb.

Our first time to Switzerland and Zermatt. After 3 plus hour train ride from Zurich was pleasant surprise to find the hotel was little steps from the train station. Staff was friendly and helpful at check in and we arrived in time for the afternoon snacks and beverages. Our suite was spacious. Full kitchen. Living room (only issue is we were not able to figure out how to turn on the fireplace! Wish the hotel had given directions on how to use). Also had laundry included, which was helpful...

The Capra is one of the best hotel experiences I ever had.
We keep going back anytime we can. This is the one place where service is at its utmost definition.

This property is amazing. It is near the Very center of town. Walkable to everything. It has a courtyard with loads of chairs for enjoying the outside. Rooms are spacious, clean, and very well-appointed. Minibar, fridge, heated towel racks, robes/slippers, complimentary water and kombucha. The spa area is also exemplary--hot tub/jacuzzi, pool, sauna, wet sauna, and aromatherapy shower. All very clean. The staff are extremely helpful and attentive. The staff was incredible. Beautiful views from our balcony. The included spa had a steam room, jacuzzi and sauna which we fully enjoyed. We considered staying another night after we saw the room for the first time! We would definitely recommend this hotel for an enjoyable stay.

Beau Site is overlooking Zermatt with a splendid view of the Matterhorn. Great hotel with welcoming staff. This ended up as a very relaxing five day vacation with pampering service and good food.

We arrived in Zermatt by train, and the hotel provided free transportation from the train station. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The hotel's 'lobby' is more like a living room, complete with comfortable chairs, fresh flowers and a fireplace. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Our room was spacious and had breathtaking views of the mountainside, as well as a personal note from the innkeeper and fresh apples upon our arrival. We had turndown service each evening with...

Beautiful all around! The room faced the Matterhorn as promised. Felt safe and at home the finishing, mostly hand crafted were amazing. Only advice I’d give is to take a taxi from the train station. It’s not a 15 minute walk as google will tell you. It’s a strenuous uphill hike. If you have luggage it’s very hard if you’re not used to higher altitudes. But it did not detract from the experience!

Super clean and well-situated locally. Walking distance to all Verbier festival activities. 5-star breakfast with barista coffees (not to mention the soft-boiled ‘dippy eggs with soldiers’). The staff was truly the best part! Well, that is, along with the view of the Grand Massif!

Perhaps the most welcoming experience that we have had. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
Location is very good, walking distance to lifts and to a broad range of restaurants.
The pool and jacuzzi have a unique vibe.
Highly recommended as a top choice in Zermatt.
