Montana
Montana delivers an Alpine wonderland where luxury and adventure meet. Zip up the Cry d'Er Gondola for breathtaking panoramic views, or try your luck at the Casino de Crans-Montana. Hiking trails wind through pristine mountain landscapes in summer, while world-class skiing dominates winter days. The prestigious Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club offers emerald fairways with Mont Blanc views. Upscale mountain cuisine shines in Michelin-starred restaurants and cozy Alpine chalets serving raclette and fondue. Luxury chalets and high-end hotels with spa facilities make perfect mountain retreats. Cable cars and funiculars provide scenic access throughout this refined Swiss resort town.

Randogne
Randogne is your ticket to Alpine bliss in the Crans-Montana resort area. Hit the slopes at Violettes Express Gondola in winter or hike stunning mountain meadows come summer. The pristine landscapes of Glacier de la Plaine Morte offer jaw-dropping views that'll make your social media followers weep with envy. Festival vibes and outdoor adventures await around every pine-scented corner. The dining scene serves up Swiss classics in settings so cozy you'll want to move in permanently. Luxury chalets and upscale hotels dot the mountainside, many offering ski-in/ski-out access and heated pools with panoramic views. Getting around requires planning—most visitors rely on rental cars or cable cars that double as scenic joy rides.

Chermignon
Chermignon offers travelers a peaceful slice of authentic Swiss mountain life just outside the busier Crans-Montana resort center. Traditional Alpine chalets dot the landscape while hiking trails and pristine meadows beckon outdoor enthusiasts. The neighborhood's quiet charm and friendly locals create a perfect home base for mountain adventures at nearby ski slopes and golf courses. You'll find cozy, family-run restaurants serving classic Swiss fondue and raclette, though dining options are limited so plan accordingly. Most visitors rent chalets or vacation apartments at prices friendlier than the main resort. While a car is recommended for exploring, the village's intimate scale makes for pleasant strolls amid crisp mountain air.

Vermala
Perched high in the Swiss Alps, Vermala delivers postcard-worthy mountain views and direct access to world-class ski slopes. Verdets attracts outdoor enthusiasts year-round, while luxury chalets with carved wooden balconies dot the landscape. Pristine Alpine meadows and hiking trails through larch forests provide a refreshing escape from everyday life. Upscale hotel restaurants serve refined Swiss-French cuisine and traditional raclette, though advance reservations are essential. Five-star alpine lodges and ski-in/ski-out accommodations dominate the scene. Most visitors rely on hotel shuttles or rental cars since the steep mountain terrain makes walking between properties challenging.

Bluche
Bluche delivers a mountain paradise tucked into the Swiss Alps with views that'll make your phone's camera roll weep. Part of the Crans-Montana ski area, this charming village combines luxury with authentic alpine vibes. Hit the slopes in winter or tackle scenic hiking trails in summer when wildflowers paint the mountainsides. The prestigious Les Roches hospitality school adds a cosmopolitan touch to this peaceful retreat. Upscale chalets and boutique hotels with spa amenities dominate the accommodation scene. You'll find Swiss-French alpine cuisine—think bubbling fondue and raclette—at hotel restaurants with mountain backdrops. Getting around requires planning since public transportation is limited and those winding mountain roads demand attention.

Baxter Hotel
"Very good breakfast and good value for money especially so close to the station."
Hotel Ermitage Kandersteg
"This property is well located near the gondola to Oeschinensee. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent."
Hotel Royal
"Nice hotel, but lacking on the 5* experience side of things. Older style hotel with well maintained rooms, but the tub/shower setup is terribly cramped and dangerous for showering in. Nice rustic, chic rooms without AC. This is only a concern during the day during heat waves, but still should be noted. I would recommend this hotel to elderly folks who are into old school hotel setups, but not for the younger, sophisticated traveler. The hotel location is also at one side of town, and is a 20min walk into town for dining and shopping."
KURVE Apartments & Lounge
"Clean and thoroughly modern feel good apartment. Great underground parking garage close to elevator with EV charging if required. Coop very handy underneath hotel. It was quite hot and no aircon which we knew in advance so a 2nd fan would be appreciated as 2 bedrooms needed airflow."
The Cambrian
"We got a family maisonette on the 5 floor. Wonderful views. The restaurant and bar had amazing dishes, the drinks were well made and the staff was super helpful. My kids also loved the place."
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sion by IHG
"it was too hot and the ventilation wasnt enough and no air conditioning. The manager was very helpful and gave us his standing fan that helped with our misery a little bit."
HUUS Gstaad
"One of the best properties I have ever stayed in. Wondering location, very clean and super helpful staff. The only negative was that the staff couldn’t provide a fan, we requested multiple times but apparently they did not have enough fans for all rooms. Apart from this, everything else was great"
Hôtel le Mont Paisible
"Amazing stay at Hôtel le Mont Paisible! The mountain views are absolutely breathtaking, the environment is peaceful and relaxing, and the breakfast was excellent with a great variety of fresh options. Everything made for a wonderful experience. We will definitely come back in the future. Highly recommended!"
Moxy Sion
"good location, clean room, passage to car park can be wider too narrow for a big car!"
