"Jolie petit hôtel "

"I don’t even know where to begin with how much we loved this hotel room. 6 girls in the luxury suite for the night. Spa weekend. We had never heard of the British before, but man were we pleasantly surprised. The suite itself was super clean and massive. The decor was top notch. Check-in was easy peasy with the cute little lock boxes and the food at the pub was absolutely superb. We had a really good laugh about the open concept bathroom with no doors! lol (the toilet is private, FYI) so thankfully we’re all comfortable with showering in the open air! So if you are a shy group, it may not be ideal, but for us it added a really nice level of humour! We literally want to move in to this suite. We will for sure be staying here for every one of our spa weekends away!! Thanks Gen for a great experience!!"

"Room was clean, but had shower over bath with curtain, rather than walk in style. I would’ve preferred a kettle to boil water for tea rather than use coffee pod machine in room. Staff friendly and helpful, but not all able to speak fluent English - understandable as Quebec is French speaking - but good to know this beforehand. Hotel is close to Ottawa (10 min taxi ride to CBD). Buffet breakfast on offer was a nice selection of fresh fruits, cereals, hot foods, breads - additional charge but I thought was worthwhile, and there were no nearby alternatives to go to. Would recommend to solo traveller - I felt safe staying there."
