This is a prime location to see much of what Ottawa has to offer. The Chateau is full of history and the staff is incredibly accomodating. We stayed for 4 days and were able to take in the Nature Museum, Parliament tour, a haunted walk, National Gallery, shopping at the Rideau Centre and a hike down Sparks street. The food options are endless and we highly recommend a stop at Zaks Diner, New King Shawarma, Tavern on the Hill and Fat Boys BBQ.
