We had a nice stay at the Fairmont, especially with the wonderful staff that was very helpful and kind. Bed was comfortable, breakfast buffet & egg station was nice and the fitness center was well equipped. The pool area and changing rooms could use an upgrade.

This hotel is in an excellent location. You can walk to everything. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was very nice. The main problem was the hot water. You had to run the taps for a long time to get any hot water. Apart from that l would recommend staying here

First of all, Fairmont are always top-notch destinations. This one is no exception. You may save a a few dollars staying at a lesser hotel or slightly out of the hub of activity, great restaurants, the Canal, ByWard market however that gap will close quickly with the amount of money you will spend on Uber or driving around where staying here all you need to do is walk to the great spots. Weather be sightseeing at Parliament or hitting all the great restaurants just walk out the front door!

Excellent staff, nice rooms, great service. Only comments: carpets can be cleaner, shower pressure not high enough. Otherwise, magnificent property. Enjoyed our stay.
