8/10 Good
"Generally this was a good stay. The neighbourhood is nice with local cafes and bars which are a bit less expensive than the ones in town. It’s not my first time in San Sebastián and for the price this is better qualify than the places in centre of town - room was spotless and products in bathroom great. It’s honestly not that far - 20 minutes walk from the main station or half an hour into the old town via a nice park. Feels like a safe area - there’s a big aldi close by. Gym was great. Rooftop pool also great perk.
The staff are a mix - the guy who checked me in was great but some of the others did give off a bit of a ‘why are you asking that’ vibe, as if you’re bothering the hipsters with your old person questions. Also the coffee bags in the room were a faff but maybe that’s because there were only small glasses not cups so the drip effect didn’t work. I also get that it seems to be student accommodation maybe on some of the floors but perhaps clarity should be given when booking on which spaces are for short term guests and which are not in terms of coworking and communal kitchen etc . Breakfast is expensive for a continental but good quality."
"The location is ideal about a minute walk to La Concha beach without the hustle of the crowds on the beach. Also few minutes to shopping areas. The staff at the front desk were so knowledgeable and helpful. Alexandra and Borjes were professional and polite"
"Mustafa was outstanding and I really enjoyed being able to use the gym and spa. The rooftop deck was a really nice touch too! Great location to walk around to all the cool locations in the city too."
"A really pleasant, clean and central hotel that accommodated me and my bicycle for a couple of days. Fresh and with a pleasant breakfast / dining area."
"Stayed one night on the way to Seville, and the room was very comfortable, exactly as indicated online, and the location was great.
The rooftop bar is lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. Exactly what you would expect from a hotel in this bracket. We had a standard double room with interior view, which is to say a view of the light well that all interior rooms look onto. The large window is offset from the sleeping space, so you could open the curtains if you wanted to with compromising privacy. It provides a nice amount of natural light and the room’s fit out is classy enough to make it feel snug and cozy, not second-rate by any means.
All the standard touches are in place - coffee, tea, (paid) mini bar, robes, slippers. Very civilised checkout time. Would stay again."
