We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Tayko Bilbao. The room was spacious, comfortable and beautifully presented, making it a great place to relax after exploring the city. The breakfast was a real highlight, with a fantastic selection and excellent quality. Everything was fresh and delicious, and it was the perfect way to start the day. The staff were also brilliant throughout our stay, friendly, welcoming and always happy to help with anything we needed. The hotel is in a great location for exploring Bilbao, and the combination of the beautiful room, excellent breakfast and genuinely helpful staff made our stay really enjoyable. We would definitely stay at Hotel Tayko again and would highly recommend it.

Outstanding service; staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The junior suite was comfortable, clean, and well appointed, if a bit dark due to the unique architecture of the building. Various small touches of hospitality and luxury made the stay extra special. Great location in the old town. Make sure to reserve parking in advance if you need it and note that the parking lot is tight. Overall, one of the best hotel stays for us in recent years!

We had the absolute best time here. We stayed in room 303 and the views were gorgeous of the river, it was a corner room that had three big windows that slightly opened. We were here for Aste Nagusia the big citywide festival and the location of the hotel couldn’t be more perfect. We walked everywhere, had pintxos at all the local bars, it was super lively. The bed so so comfortable, the rooms were clean, and the staff could not have been any more positive and generous. Will be recommending this to everyone. Thanks again!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Clean, great amenities, most of the staff were helpful, great location. The bed was comfortable, room was spacious, bathroom included a bidet, wood floors, refrigerator. We booked a standard room so the window looked out to the interior wall. Our only suggestion is better lighting. The room was dark as was the bathroom. Very difficult to apply make-up for the ladies.

Really lovely boutique hotel in a perfect spot in Bilbao. Right on the river, at the start of the Seven Streets district, at the heart of the pintxos bars and restaurants, close to the market, tram stops, train station etc. A perfect base for exploring this wonderful city. There are a couple of lounges which don’t really offer anything other than somewhere to sit, as far as I can tell, and there were a couple of accessibility points that I think someone with mobility issues might have struggled with (the location of the safe, for example) but I’m being picky. The restaurant has a fabulous Michelin-starred restaurant and a small bar area at its entrance. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel and restaurant to anyone thinking of visiting Bilbao.
