Is this really a 4-star hotel? Miró’s bed was hard as a rock, the pillows were lumpy, the bathrobe was tattered, the shower didn’t seal and leaked into the corner of the bathroom, there is no in-room coffee maker, and the hotel has no outdoor space or restaurant for dinner. The room was pretty small too. In contrast, I stayed in a 3-star hotel the night before. It had a comfy bed, cozy comforter and pillows, fresh robes, an on-site restaurant, and a garden. Location of the Miró is pretty good - if you can find anything open besides the Guggenheim. Miró staff did answer all questions.

A lovely, modern 4 star hotel just a short 2 min walk along from Bilbao’s Guggenheim. Welcoming and helpful staff. We booked a suite on the 8th floor (I think it’s the highest category room) which was well equipped with a bath, separate shower and good aircon. We appreciated the Molton Brown products in the bathroom. There was a relaxing and stylish honesty bar on the ground floor. We didn’t have time to try the breakfast. A range of restaurants and shops are located on the blocks behind and to the side of the hotel, and the old town is maybe around a 25 minute walk away. We would definitely stay here again.
