and quiet stay at the hotel. Although it was about 10 minute walk from the nearest metro station, the room was more spacious than hotels at similar price point closer to the major touristy areas closer to the metro station. The staff was also very professional and cordial, and made my stay feel welcoming. Really great value hotel when staying in Osaka."

"Great stay for a night, and staff are friendly although don’t expect them to help you navigate as a tourist - they are only there to guide you into the facility. As such, luggage forwarding and stuff won’t be offered there - at least by the staff the served us. Coins/cash is still king here so bring some change for vending machines.
If you get a Japanese style room, they also don’t set up your futon for you so book a western style room or look up how to set one up in advance. 4 people room was...

"We had an amazing time on our four night stay. The beds were comfortable and the location was ideal walking distance to all the Osaka highlights. Train station right at the door when required. Free ice cream, drinks and ramen. The hot springs is wonderful. All the amenities and facility was as advertised. Washer and dryer located on level 2 for ¥300 per load. Great value and convenience. Plenty of food available in the area too. "

"Walkable from the JR station (15min or take a bus (5min Ride). This hotel is located by the subway station ~2 min walk distance. Everything was clean and convenient (laundry room in premises) but the AC did not work in the room. The hotel is older but it is priced accordingly. It was worth the stay to get around and visit tourists areas in Osaka. For a budget friendly stay it was great! "

"Rooms, service, staff, amenities all excellent. Highly recommended. Very close to Namba station and central Osaka areas such as Dotonbori. The club lounge access was also worth it and we also enjoyed dinner at Suan Bua. "

"We had a great stay here as a couple. The room was a good size, clean, and comfortable. The location is excellent-just a 5-minute walk from the metro, which made getting around the city super convenient.
What really stood out was how much the hotel had to offer. With 40 floors, it felt like a mini city inside! There’s a 7-Eleven store right in the building, a

"Perfect hotel. Location was next to the train station which is a must in this hilly town. Property nice and clean. Food was excellent. Kaiseki dinner with meat was tasty and filling. Breakfast was very good. Unfortunately the outdoor onsen was closed. Indoor onsen was large and had a variety of pools. Overall a memorable stay and I highly recommend this hotel."

"Super love the spaciousness and the environment of Tocen. We travel with small children, it’s hard to leave them for public hot spring. This private onsen is perfect. "

"It's our first time at an onsen ryokan, and overall it was a very pleasant stay! The receptionist that greeted us spoke English well and was very clear at explaining the facilities and answering any questions we had. She asked clarifying questions about our food preference so that adjustments can be made to the meals. My friend doesn't eat any raw food, we both don't eat spicy, and they made note of that. The Kaiseki ryori dinner was delicious. I mentioned I liked sashimi and I'm ok with raw...

"This Ryokan does not do food of any kind. Inaccurate description on expedia.
It is close to everything in the area..
Yukatas provided are quite small.
Onsen is small but adequate.
Bit wear and tear but expected for old building.
Staff where polite and helpful.
