Such a beautiful place! Great weather, museums, food, drinks, & street art everywhere. Everyone is SO FRIENDLY! As a visibly queer & trans solo traveler I wasn't sure how I'd feel, but I felt very safe and welcome everywhere I went. Will come back!

A city that shouldn't be overlooked. Interesting history, even though tourism has taken over the old city so it's not really a viable place to live. The Puerto Ricans are very gracious and friendly despite such a strange relationship with USA

Definitely going back, & staying longer than 5 days. Most things you need are within walking distance and there is a lot of entertainment nearby. La Placita de Santurce is worth the trip itself. Open market, bars, and restaurants with live music.

Beautiful Old Town is lousy with cruise ship tourists, but you can get away from the crowds and the kitschy shops to the quieter streets. Anywhere you go, though, is fun and festive. The people of Puerto Rico are incredibly friendly and kind.

Great island to visit and explore. Many beaches and places to visit, loved everything to see at Old San Juan and El Yunque National Forest is a must visit location. Will definitely return to Puerto Rico to explore more of the island.

Old San Juan is lovely. The forts are well worth a visit alone before adding all the other things one can do on excursions to the rainfirest, bio bay, Bacardi and more. Do a walking tour. Lots of history and beautiful views.

We stayed in the city and also traveled outside of the city for several tours. We enjoyed every day in San Juan and also our trips outside of the city. So much to see and experience in terms of history and natural beauty.

Old San Juan is a wonderful historic place to explore. And the rain forest El Yunque is fabulous. Just be aware that parts of the city surrounding the beauty is very run down. Just to be prepared and not surprised.

We arrived on New Years Day and the city was still decorated for Christmas. There was a city festival in progress for the Governor's inauguration and congress/senate swearing in so the city was particularly lively.
"The hotel was very convenient and located near restaurants, shops, and pharmacies, all within walking distance. Its central location made it easy to get around. The place was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful."
"The Condado Vanderbilt hands down is the best hotel on Condado Beach. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is wonderful, and the location is perfect! I loved this hotel!!"
"Absolutely loved this resort and plan to return. All of us had early flights and were allowed to check in with no extra fee. The rooms were spacious and clean. We really didnt need to leave the resort unless we wanted to. There was a free shuttle to take you to the beach and to Old San Juan. We look forward to staying here again soon!"
