"Hotel staff were excellent but the fabric of the hotel left much to be desired. We were made very welcome and staff were most helpful, it's just a pity that some furniture was quite shabby and needs updating. One major problem was the bathroom where taking a shower was potentially dangerous, the baths are difficult to step in and out of due to their design which slopes too steeply."

"Excellent location and quality of accommodation. Had a fabulous time. Staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. Food in the restaurants high quality. Spa was lovely. Could do with a heated towel rail in the bathrooms but that’s a small thing really. Overall excellent. Would definitely come back."

"We have stayed at the Somerville three times, one being while they hosted our wedding day, and each time was wonderful. We can't fault it. It is situated in a very nice location for sea views, public transport, pubs, restaurants and local shops. It's around a 15 minute drive from the airport. The staff are always helpful, polite and friendly, the hotel is beautiful, the food is delicious and amenities are very good. Thanks again, Somerville!"
