Clean and efficient hotel but head chef is a misery? Seemed to dominate the bar area too with reserved signs on tables then when we asked if we could get another drink at 5 to last orders he curtly replied “if you take it to your room”. We were the only ones in there. No need to shun your residents. The rest of staff great & hotel was great, food good and he was just a blot. Needs addressing as he thinks he’s in charge of everything- he told me he was!

The hotel is right on the sea front, and our bedroom window had an amazing view over the bay. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was lovely and plentiful.

It is a blast from the past but at the same time it's one of the most affordable ones. Location is good next to the beach and some spectacular restaurants (not the one inside this hotel). Short walk to the center via tunnel and buses go by regularly. Single room was decent but had some weird stuff in it like a blow dryer next to the bed and a shower from the 90s. No AC or a fan, so prepare if it is warm. Breakfast is great. You choose from the list and they bring you whatever you ordered. Very friendly staff!

The owners attention to detail demonstrates just how much they care about guest experience. From information on welcome at reception to the information in the room and the staff are all very welcoming and helpful. The direct view of the sea from the room alone was so much value for money and it was so nice to have such a wide range of options for breakfast - the egg hollandaise was delicious. There was a very slight issue a cleaner had missed but owner resolved immediately and it's the type of establishment I'm sure they've added it to their checklists. I am a non-smoker so could not use the terrace space - when the hotel and adjacent venues were busy and lots of smokers around at least. I'm sure hotel would help with info on quieter times/less smokers around if you needed. I would most definately stay again.

Bedrooms we had were HOT, No A/C. Small fan in room to blow hot air around. Generally the hotel seems to be in a state of constant repair. We had booked two rooms, neither TV worked. One didn’t switch on at all, the other switched on and gave sound, but had no picture - not ideal during a World Cup. I even went down to front desk, no one there but a sign giving a number to call, called the number got an answering machine. No parking on site and very hard to find parking in that area, but found parking garage (green st) not too far away (10 min walk). Overall staff were friendly and location for ocean proximity is great, but would not race to stay here again.

Had a good stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Nice location! Staff were friendly though there was one staff from the restaurant who was quite rude to us when we went for drinks.
