Hotels with Kitchens in Japan

This is the nicest hotel I think we've ever stayed in, and we travel a bit. I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere, regardless of price or rating, where there wasn't some small thing a bit off -- even five-star hotel rooms have some gross dusty corner, if you look hard enough. Not this one: absolutely everything was perfect, top to bottom, from the lobby to the bed to the discreet laundry machine in our room to the breakfast buffet. Not a dusty corner in sight. Breakfast was amazing, btw. We...

Everything was fantastic. The room was very clean, great staff, and the location was perfect.

Great location, friendly staff, great breakfast and the location can't be beat. Great Ginza location next to Tsukiji market, subway, shopping, restaurants etc. I highly recommend this hotel. Rooms are new and modern and a little tight but it's Tokyo!

Absolutely a perfect location in Kyoto very close walk to the best shopping and many of the temples close to some great restaurants highly recommend

We loved this hotel so much, we didn't want to leave. Everything was perfect from the spacious, comfortable room to the helpful hotel staff, to the convenient location. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was plentiful. I wish hotel experiences were this good in the states. I would come back here again and again, highly recommended.

The staff was very helpful and always greeted us with a smile!

The staff was absolutely outstanding exactly what you would expect at a grand Hyatt hotel. The indoor pool was wonderful so was the spa. It's a beautiful island getaway perfect for relaxation. Exactly what I needed.

This hotel was right in the heart of Namba so close to the train stations and tons of restaurants. The staff was very friendly, kind, and helpful. We loved having the washer/dryer in our room so we could do laundry while we were out. There was also a kitchenette fully stocked with everything you would need to cook, but we didn't have time to cook while we were there for 2 nights. The shower was excellent. We liked having the ecofriendly slippers provided which had a thicker sole and can be...

This was my first trip to Japan, I had to make some last minute itinerary changes and came upon Dormy Hot Springs. The room was a little smaller than I expected - by traveling solo I needed a clean comfortable space, this was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful to an American who spoke no Japanese. The breakfast buffet was exceptional plus to the stay.

What a lovely place to stay. Beautiful view of the ocean and easy access to it. Love the hotel pajamas. They are so comfortable. We rented a car and had a wonderful time exploring nearby areas and driving north. Also, we could go at our own pace and not worry about getting to the tours on time and feeling rushed through our experiences. We would love to stay here again if we return to Onna City. Very clean, great customer service, great amenities, spacious accommodations.

The best!

Clean room, good amenities, kind staffs...everythings well done. Not many choice of American breakfast.

spacious room with lots of amenities not seen in most Japanese hotels: washing machine, dishes and utensils, pots and pans. Very comfortable stay, definitely look for the same brand next time.

The Tokyu Stay Shinjuku is conveniently located close to train stations, shopping, dining and nightlife. The property was clean and quiet. My room was cozy but well-appointed and I liked being able to do laundry in my room. The water pressure in the shower was amazing and the hot water was plentiful. I would definitely stay here again but if I were traveling with others would reserve a bigger sized room.

Great hotel. Multi-lingual, friendly staff. Close to train station. Washing machine/dryer inside each room.

Nice place. Not too easy to find parking but that’s expected for a location like this. Very modern, clean, comfortable

The rooms were tight as are all Japanese Hotels in this category. A little tough for two people with two large suitcases so you'll have to improvise a bit. Onsen could be crowded in the evening. In the afternoons it's empty. Biggest plus is location. Lots of great stuff within walking distance. Tensin Yatai area just a stop away. One stop to Hakata station. 24 hour grocery store just a few minutes away by foot.

What a gem we found! This hotel is located in such a convenient spot— with shops, restaurants and metro right underneath. The metro is in front of the hotel but you don’t notice the noise at all. The apartment is quiet and clean. It literally has access to everything you want. We loved it.
