"Lovely old manor house full of character, very different and a pleasant change to the usual chain hotels close to Heathrow. Our room was spacious, warm, clean and had a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was included and was very tasty. Parking also included on site. The owner is also very helpful and accommodating. We'd definitely stay again. A couple of pubs are within 5 mins walk, providing food in the evening."

"Sloane Place.... is in the right place! The location was perfect... two minute walk from the Tube (Circle and District lines) and a bus stop... only a mile's walk to Harrod's, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace- Parliament Square/St. James Park just beyond that. The room itself was not huge but was certainly adequate with TWO comfortable chairs to sit in. The staff was very helpful, and the cleaning service was excellent. "

However, there was no mirror in the bedroom (for hairdryer) and unfortunately the milk in the fridge was off on the second day (not-checked) - minor issues that slightly spoiled the stay, but when paying a premium price, don't expect flaws!"

Firstly it’s the warm greeting by Christian at the front desk or Katarina the manager in the morning or her assistant front office manager. They are also welcoming and polite and that makes a difference. The location of the hotel is excellent for all the best attractions and sites of London. It’s a short walk to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens and only a little further to Holland Park. There’s masses of good pubs...

Within walking distance of the Natural History Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum, as well as Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park. The South Kensington Underground is across the street, making access to downtown and Paddington or Waterloo stations quite easy. It is a 45-minute train ride from Heathrow using the Heathrow...
