, they had set up a little bed and bowl for her. Lots of space to exercise in the grounds, and then it leads to the footpaths to Stanmore Common and Bentley Priory. The room was spacious and comfortable, there were lots of nice touches, like real coffee bags. And we had breakfast in WS Gilbert’s library, looking out across the well-kept gardens."

"Sloane Place.... is in the right place! The location was perfect... two minute walk from the Tube (Circle and District lines) and a bus stop... only a mile's walk to Harrod's, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace- Parliament Square/St. James Park just beyond that. The room itself was not huge but was certainly adequate with TWO comfortable chairs to sit in. The staff was very helpful, and the cleaning service was excellent. "

"We had a great 3 night stay at the Ellen! The front desk staff, breakfast staff and housekeeping staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and had many amenities. We do wish there had been a luggage rack in the room. (But I’m sure one would have been brought to us if I had asked : ) The breakfast and the breakfast space were fantastic!! This hotel and it’s location checked all the boxes for us. "

"The location was very good - loved the neighborhood. Kensington Park was just across the street. We walked through the park every day on our way to see the sights. Bathroom sink & faucets could use some maintenance. The bar and dining room were excellent, and the food was exceptionally good. The service staff in both were very attentive and friendly. Firstly it’s the warm greeting by Christian at the front desk or Katarina the manager in the morning or her assistant front office manager. It’s a short walk to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens and only a little further to Holland Park. There’s masses of good pubs...

Within walking distance of the Natural History Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum, as well as Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park. The South Kensington Underground is across the street, making access to downtown and Paddington or Waterloo stations quite easy. It is a 45-minute train ride from Heathrow using the Heathrow...
