Check out the Fort Gratiot Lighthouse, the oldest in Michigan. If you're lucky, you can catch a view of a freighter while dining at Freighters by the famous Blue Bridge.

Port Huron is neat and fun place to visit. If you belong to an I-LYA or AYC affiliated club, PHYC is must stop if they're open.

Nice area. Plenty of shopping and plenty of restaurants to choose from.
"Filet at the Dive was excellent. Great wine and drink options. River side dining available. River view dining always available. Boardwalk by river exceptional. Had a glass of wine by riverside after dinner. "
"Had a little trouble checking in. We had pre checked in on line and given a room number. When we arrived there seemed to be no record of it at the front desk."
