Good
The food is amazing, museums were great, lots of live music, great historical buildings and much more. However, like most cities, about 10% of their structures are vacant and most could be converted into housing. They should help the homeless more.

Across the street, you can access the multi-use path along the waterfront or jump on a ferry to explore the islands in Casco Bay. The Portland Museum of Art holds an impressive collection of Maine Art, with major works by Winslow Homer.

Portland is an amazing small city. So many amazing restaurants and I bought several locally made souvenirs and gifts. Loved that everything was within walking distance. Public transit was convenient from the train station to downtown.
